Project Overview
Who am I?
Hello! My name is Neil Simmons and I am a voice-over artist but am looking to start this nostalgic project!
What is this?
This is a casting call for a multitude of projects. The main sum of all the projects will be an English Dub of the hit game Dragon Ball Z: Legend of Goku 2!
For those of you unfamiliar with Dragon Ball Z:
Dragon Ball Z follows the adventures of the adult Goku who, along with his companions, defends the earth against an assortment of villains ranging from intergalactic space fighters and conquerors, unnaturally powerful androids and near indestructible magical creatures. While the original Dragon Ball anime followed Goku through childhood into adulthood, Dragon Ball Z is a continuation of his adulthood life, but at the same time parallels the maturation of his son, Gohan, as well as other characters from Dragon Ball and more. The separation between the series is also significant as the latter series takes on a more dramatic and serious tone. The anime also features characters, situations and back-stories not present in the original manga.
Requirements:
First of all I would like to state that, this is purely for fun and nothing more, so unfortunately due to my lack of money I can't make this a paid project. Anyways, what I'm looking for in terms of requirements is:
- have a recording environment because we need to limit as much background noise as much as possible.
- You need to have a microphone capable of recording, something decent. For example a condenser mic. You can also use a dynamic mic.
- You must be at least the age of 16 or older to join my server or to collaborate.
- Show emotion in your voice if the character requires emotion.
- Also, have some knowledge of Dragon Ball Z or at least already have watched a good chunk of the series because I don't wanna risk spoiling for you folks!

Son Goku, born Kakarot is a Saiyan raised on Earth and the overall main protagonist of the Dragon Ball series. Originally sent to Earth as an infant, Kakarot would be adopted by Grandpa Gohan who named him Son Goku. A head injury at an early age alters Goku's memory, ridding him of his initial destructive nature and allowing him to grow up to become one of Earth's greatest defenders. He constantly strives and trains to be the greatest warrior possible, which has kept the Earth and the universe safe from destruction many times. Also, he's kind of goofy and oblivious.

Son Gohan is a half-breed Saiyan and one of the most prominent characters in the Dragon Ball series. He is the elder son of the series' primary protagonist Goku and his wife Chi-Chi, the older brother of Goten, the husband of Videl and father to Pan. He is named after Goku's adoptive grandfather, Gohan.
Unlike his father, Gohan lacks a passion for fighting (although, he does possess a strong power within him) and prefers to do so only when his loved ones are threatened.[6] Nevertheless, Gohan fights alongside the Dragon Team in the defense of Earth for much of his life.

Piccolo Jr. usually just called Piccolo or Kamiccolo and also known as Ma Junior, is a Namekian and also the final child and reincarnation of King Piccolo, later becoming the reunification of the Nameless Namekian after fusing with Kami. According to Grand Elder Guru, Piccolo, along with Kami and King Piccolo, are part of the Dragon Clan, who were the original creators of the Dragon Balls.

(Semi Stern) Gohan, you can't rely on just yourself. You have to set your pride aside, and let someone else take care of things.
(Curious) Did your calculations predict that Goku would become a Super Saiyan?
(Defeated but Frustrated) There's nothing we can do! I'm afraid this is it! Cell has beaten us!
A former desert bandit, Yamcha was once an enemy of Goku, but quickly reformed and became a friend and ally. Brave, boastful and dependable, Yamcha is a very talented martial artist and one of the most powerful humans on Earth, possessing skills and traits that allow him to fight alongside his fellow Z Fighters when major threats loom. Although he retired by the latter half of Dragon Ball Z, due to being largely outclassed by both his allies (namely the Saiyans) and their enemies, he is always present whenever a new threat approaches, and will occasionally lend a helping hand, thus proving himself to be a powerful ally in his own right.

Tien is a disciplined, reclusive and heavily devoted martial artist, and one of the strongest Earthlings within the Dragon Ball universe. He also possesses a few non-human traits due to being descended from the alien Triclops race. He was originally a student of the Crane School who desired revenge against Goku for defeating his mentor, Mercenary Tao, but realized he was on the wrong side with the help of Master Roshi. He battles alongside the other Z Fighters against major threats to the Earth, often courageously engaging enemies far more powerful than himself. However, he spends most of his time training with his lifelong best friend, Chiaotzu.

(Cocky) I left Chiaotzu with Master Roshi. To be honest with you, I didn't think the little guy stood much of a chance out here.
(Furious) NO!!!!! I'm planning on stopping you before you go any further Cell! Tri Beeeeam... HAAA
Chiaotzu is a white-skinned, red-cheeked little Earthling. He is the constant companion and best friend of Tien Shinhan and one of Master Shen's former students.

(Happy) Tien! I won! I did it!
(Concerned) Tien, Are you ok! Don't worry I'll protect you!
(Scared) Oh no! My power didn't work! Why don't you pick on someone your own size?!
He's one of the most powerful and talented martial artists on Earth. He is courageous, faithful, and good-natured. Krillin had a brief rivalry with Goku when they first trained under Master Roshi, but they quickly became lifelong best friends, to the point that Goku cares for him as much as his family and closest ones. He is a prominent Z Fighter, despite usually being overpowered by the major enemies. His short stature and baldness (with the exception of when he grows out his hair in the Majin Buu Saga onwards, although he occasionally shaves his head in several sagas in Dragon Ball Super) aid him in his ability to provide comic relief during tense moments. During the latter half of Dragon Ball Z, he largely retires from fighting, opting to settle down with his family instead, becoming the husband of Android 18 and the father of Marron. However, he returns to his lifestyle as a warrior later on in Dragon Ball Super.

(Confident yet unsure) So this is it... I suppose I'm as ready right now as I'm ever going to be. I just wish things didn't have to be this way.
(Upset and annoyed) Don't blow a vien Hurcule you grease-ball! Goku is more powerful than you will ever be!
Chi-Chi is the princess of Fire Mountain and the daughter of the Ox-King. She later marries Goku and becomes the loving mother of Gohan and Goten. She was first introduced as a shy and fearful girl, but later, as she gets older, develops a very tomboyish, tough and fierce personality, which sometimes causes her to have angry outbursts seen several times throughout the series. Despite this, she has shown her love for Goku and their sons many times throughout the series.

(Stern) No son of mine is going to grow up and become a muscle-head! You'll thank me for this someday.
(Scolding) GOKU!?! IS THAT REALLY YOU?!? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN??!! YOU WERE ONLY GONE FOR A YEAR AND A HALF... A YEAR AND A HALF!!!
Dende is a Namekian with a unique gift that allows him to heal others. He is the 108th son of Grand Elder Guru. On Goku's request, Dende becomes the Earth's Guardian in Kami's place. He continues his role as Guardian for the rest of the series, helping the protagonists during their adventures whenever he can.

(Direct) Eternal Dragon! By your name I summon you forth! SHENRON!
Mr. Popo is an assistant deity who serves as the attendant to Earth's Guardian. He also tends the grounds of the Lookout. Although he is bound there eternally as the gardener and caretaker, he can instantaneously travel anywhere in the world when the occasion calls for it by using a magic carpet.
