A new Dragon Ball GT parody project is in the works, and we need voice actors!
DigitalZombieStudios is making a resurgence! And this time, we're tackling 'Dragon Ball GT'. Please read the requirements below before auditioning.
REQUIREMENTS/THINGS TO NOTE
- This project is just for fun and therefore is non-paid. Please keep this in mind before auditioning
-XLR microphones are required. Any obvious sounding non-XLR auditions will be ignored. It's nothing personal, we just want the best sounding actors for our project.
- This is Dragon Ball, so there is bound to be a lot of screaming! Take a look at the role you're auditioning for to see if there will be any heavy yelling involved.
- Read each line to the best of your ability with 3 takes per line. No more is necessary.
- The current plan is to do multiple episodes. So if you are cast, please be available to reprise your role in future episodes of the series.
- A discord account is required for easy communication between actor and director.
- Must be open to live direction.
- Must be okay to swear. If you are young and can't swear, auditioning isn't recommended.
- We aren't looking for any TeamFourStar impressions for this project, as this is a completely different parody series.
- Some characters may be missing because some roles have been cast to offsite actors. (Such as Trunks, Kid Goku, etc.)
- If you wish to have feedback, please specify so with your audition comment. Otherwise feedback may not be given.

One of the most important roles, he's Goku after all! However, this particular Goku takes a backseat as the spotlight is more on Kid Goku. So if cast, the bulk of your lines won't be until later in the series.
For this role, we're open to variety in his voice, but we're not looking for any Goku that sounds like Masako Nozawa's (Japanese VA) interpretation but closer to Sean Schemmel's (Funimation Dub) interpretation. But as mentioned before, we're open to variety! So ones that sound like Kirby Morrow, Peter Kelamis, or any of the english voice actors may be accepted.
Goku WILL turn into Super Saiyan 4 later in the series, so you must be able to do this voice variation as well, so feel free to demonstrate in the audition!

Pan is one of the more leading roles in this series. At least in the beginning, and she will also be fighting/yelling a lot. So be prepared for that. She's a very rambunctious, and cocky little girl. She's Goku's granddaughter so she won't shy from the action.
We're more open to variety for this role, so long as she sounds like a cocky little girl. In this series, we won't be writing her quite as annoying as her real series counterpart. So most of the whining and complaining will be cut from her character.
*jealous* Hmph.. how come he gets to sit in the big chair?

Goten is more of a supporting character, but will still have important parts later on in the series. You will need to be able to yell/scream for the fighting scenes. For the voice, we're looking for your generic teenage boy voice. Similar to the english voice actor from GT's dub. He spends most his time flirting/talking to his date, Velise.
*annoyed* Pan, can you turn that game down, I’m trying to get some ass over here!
*talking on the phone* Sorry about that Velise, my niece is being a pain. You said you bought something from "bad dragon?"

After episode 1, Uub won't make an appearance for a while. But there is a fighting scene regardless. So you must be able to scream/yell. Uub is the reincarnation of the evil Majin Buu. However, he's as good as they come. He's Goku's pupil in the beginning, and later on in the series, he'll end up fusing with Buu to fight Baby. The ongoing joke with Uub is, that he's poor and everyone's trying to get him to pay for stuff.
For the voice, you can do whatever you like, as long as it fits the character description and age. He must sound youthful.
*matter-of-fact* Goku, you do realize I’m poor as shit right?

Chi Chi is a minor character. She's Goku's wife and her characterization is more defined as "desperate for attention" rather than an angry, overprotective house wife.
Her voice must sound more mature, as she's a middle aged woman. She should also sound motherly.
*saddened* We only get to be intimate like twice a year and if we try anything now, I’ll get CPS called on me.
Well get a move on then! I don’t want a child for a husband!
Then it’s settled! Goku, Goten, and Trunks will fly off into space to get those dragon balls using Bulma’s new spaceship.
Dende is a minor character. He is the guardian of Earth and the dragon balls, but he does not speak too much in this series. We are open to any type of young male voice for him, with a more laid back tone.
We live on a giant pudding bowl in the sky, who the fuck would insure us?! *condescending*

Mr. Popo is a minor character. He aids the guardian, Dende, on the lookout. We are looking for a deeper voice similar to that of the original Mr. Popo, as seen in DBZ/DBZ/DBGT, but we are open to other options.

Gohan is a supporting character. He is like his usual self, focused on the important parts of each task. For this role, you will have to do some yelling/fighting lines later in the series. We are looking for a voice similar to the English dub, Kyle Hebert, but are open to hearing any and all submissions.
So you were training on the lookout, it exploded, you got knocked out, and when you woke up, you were a kid again?? *confused, in disbelief*
What happens if we don’t get all the balls in time, King Kai? *concerned*

King Kai is a minor character. He oversees events both on Earth and in otherworld. For this role, we are looking for a voice similar to Sean's English King Kai voice. The classic "mouthful of food" type voice.

There are some background characters who speak a couple of lines in episode one. They are both male and female, and are open to any and all voices.

At 2:45, we have to redo your anal bleaching, at 3:15, you’ve got a conference call with King Furry, and at 4:00 you have to wipe your ass- *female voice*
