Project Overview
Disney and Dynamite proudly present Maleficent, Queen of the Forbidden Mountain! Her realm is shrouded in darkness, and evil, and full of all things that go bump in the night. Her soul is cold, hardened by a lifetime of small-minded wanderers seeking to steal her powers to satisfy their mortal greed. Her patience wears thin. Her mystical might grows. It is a matter only of time before she descends the mountain and unleashes her horrible magics upon the powerless people below. A stunning vision of villainy from writer and artist Soo Lee!

Maleficent represents pure evil. She is ruthless, dark, devious, and will do whatever it takes to achieve her evil goals. Additionally, she is very sinister. Maleficent is soft-spoken, proper, and elegant and has two possible motivations for her crimes, either out of pride, considering she curses Aurora because Stefan didn't invite her to the christening, or she is simply a monster who enjoys being pure evil.

The princess shall indeed grow in grace and beauty, beloved by all who know her. *But*... before the sun sets on her 16th birthday, she shall prick her finger - on the spindle of a spinning wheel - and DIE!
Reynard is a young teen runaway who wants to live a life of adventure and danger sneaking around and skulking about. Reynard has a tendency to bite off more than he can chew. He is very drawn to Maleficent for her power and her magical staff that he would do anything to have it.

He introduces himself as Prince Gavin, heir to the throne, and he’s searching for his runaway brother, Reynaud. Kind of the Prince in training self. A little bit older than Reynaud probably late teens.
