Project Overview
Following Sonic’s liberation of little planet at the end of sonic CD, Sonic chases after Dr eggman who still had one of the time stones, after finding eggman and metal sonic crash landed in green hill zone, sonic tries to retrieve the stone and run the two off, but eggman erases sonic from existence using the time stone’s time manipulation abilities, sonic, now trapped in a void spends what feels like mere minutes but turns out to be years trapped there, meanwhile eggman finds a charred bird trapped in the remains of one of his old robots, and eats it, gaining an addiction to mobian meat, eggman refits his robots with ovens to cook any and all life they could find, making the already insane inventor even more unstoppable, a year has passed, a portal opens, sonic manages to warp back into existence and immediately returns to earth, finding the world completely empty, eggman had won, and after the accidental death of tails and the revelation that sonic escaping non-existence made him a dangerous time anomaly, sonic sets out to destroy any trace of eggman once and for all, lest he risk being killed too
