INTRODUCTION
Hello, I am looking to make a well-made Demon Slayer Abridged. I want people to see this online and mistake it for the dub. I want people to debate whether the abridge is better or worse than the original. With that, I want to be able to work with those aspiring to be voice actors and give them an opportunity to put their voice out there and for it to be something they are proud of.
I ask for professionalism from any who would like to be involved. I do ask that if you audition and are cast that you watch the anime if you haven't already.
PAYMENT
This will be a paid gig even though it won't be much if the first episode takes off or blows up bigger paychecks could be in store in the future. Payment will be handled half upfront and the other half after recording lines. Please note I say recording lines. There may be more recording to be done in terms of character noises but you will always be paid after lines are recorded.
COMMITMENT
This is a long-term commitment to this project I won't ask for too much of your time simply the days needed for readthroughs, recording lines, and recording character sounds. But I do ask when we do another episode to work with me in scheduling and continuing to voice the same character. There may be times when I ask you to voice minor characters and extras. You will be compensated accordingly. You also get the first try at auditioning for new roles once cast to the project even if cast as a minor character.
MISC
Inosuke will be voiced by a FEMALE when he doesn't have the mask on. You must still have that crazy over-the-top inosuke spirit. Inosuke is much like a wild animal and his speech reflects that. You must be able to play the crazy out-of-your-mind style while also being able to nail the heavy dramatic style.

When I lived on the mountain I had to fight my brothers and sisters for scraps of food. This old hag is giving us food nonstop! Could she be trying to make us big so we're tastier when she eats us? (Scared, hopeless)

Kyogai is a demon who wants to feel seen. He feels like a disappointment even as a demon. He's a musician. He is struggling with reality as his mind is slowly descending into madness.
(rationalizing his thoughts)

You will be in charge of compositing your assigned scene in a way that avoids the youtube copyright system as well as editing the lip flaps to match the dialogue.

Using your own program, you will create music for the series. You will study the music of Demon Slayer and attempt to create NEW music in the same style. You will work with the director in finding the tone and emotions each song should create. You will be paid PER SONG

You will be creating cover songs of the opening for demon slayer (Gurenge) and the song Kamado Tanjiro No Uta. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SING THEM IN JAPANESE. You will be paid $100 per cover!
