Deltarune: Voiced
Project Overview
August 30th, 2025 Update:
Hello, everyone! With the initial deadline for Deltarune: Voiced upon us, I wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for attempting to lend your voice to this project! As of writing, 245 submissions have been sent to our page. When I envisioned this project, I could’ve never imagined this amount of attention, much less 20.
It’s incredibly humbling to see this many voice actors interested in this project, and I can’t wait to sift through each and every one. There is plenty of work to be finalized, and unfortunately, life has a habit of keeping people busy away from their passion projects. But rest assured, I will do my best to close each role by September.
To those who may not be selected for the proof of concept, please stay tuned for when the full casting for the upcoming chapters is ready! I suspect many of you will receive callbacks for potential roles; however, your best bet is to audition for the latest roles as they are released.

With the recent release of chapters three and four of Deltarune, it has come to my attention that there's a drought of voiced Deltarune content. What little exists is typically one-shot clips or live playthroughs of the game.
I'd like to remedy this scarcity by creating a series of videos covering each chapter of Deltarune with voiced narration and dubbed character performances for audiences to enjoy. Whether for fans who want a recap, those who wish to experience Deltarune in a brand new way, or someone who prefers watching media rather than playing them, I'd like this project to cater to a variety of needs.
However, dubbing over a game as expansive as Deltarune is an ambitious undertaking. To ensure I properly understand the scope of this project before I bite off more than I can chew, this Casting Call is for a proof of concept of this aspiration. This shall cover the beginning of the game up until Ralsei joins your party after the Lancer encounter.
Currently, I am only seeking voice actors for this task. Once this proof of concept has finished and it's time to move on to the whole series, future roles may be sought. If you'd like to get involved in a non-acting capacity, you can reach me through the contacts at the bottom of this page.
This project is volunteer work only on my part, as I have no intention of profiting off Toby Fox's creation. However, if this fanwork is to ever somehow earn revenue via YouTube AdSense or donations (neither of which I plan on utilizing), the money shall be placed right back into production or spread amongst the cast and crew.
Since this is a low-stakes fanwork, professional-grade audio or studios are not necessary. The only stipulations are to have a microphone that won't cause any audio disturbances, and that yelling or screaming may be required for certain roles.
Please do not hesitate to audition out of fear you cannot commit to working on this project after the proof of concept. This Casting Call is only for the opening section of the game, and as such, you are under no obligation to stay on after your work is done. If you'd like to commit to this project all the way through, please bear in mind that there are currently four chapters with more on the way, along with alternative routes that need to be covered as well. No one voicing in the proof of concept shall be pressured to take on this monumental responsibility.
If your audition is chosen, you will be informed soon as possible and I'll invite you to a private Discord server for the production of this series where we'll discuss scheduling, audio submissions, and more. The lead role (despite having the least lines).
Kris doesn't have actual in-game scripts, however, filler-lines may be written between narration and responses to Kris for the sake of the audience.
Otherwise, this role will mostly consist of efforts, grunts, etc. Please be prepared to feel awkward having nonsense come out of your mouth.

(Hushed) "W-What was that...?"
(Concerned) "Careful-- She's about to thrash you!"
One of the three main characters, Susie starts their adventure being brash and rude. Her reputation around school paints her as a terrifying menace that'll clobber you for the fun of it. Her presence is enough to make people uneasy, including school staff.
However, if you can get beyond her aggressive exterior, you'll find no ally anywhere close to as loyal as her.
Susie's voice will exhibit a wide range of emotions, though she'll rarely drop the gravely and brutish edge in her tone.

Kindness goes by many names, and this one goes by Ralsei (or Fluffy Boy). Although his benevolence makes him appear gullible, he tries to see the best in everyone. He'll always be there to heal you (even before himself).
You couldn't ask for a better friend than The Prince.
His voice should match his personality. Gentle, caring, and perhaps a tad dorky.
(Slightly Annoyed and firm) Please don't start a battle.

The Bad Guy
Lancer's childlike nature motivates his bizarre antics, becoming an agitating thorn in his enemies' sides.
Although his schemes are relatively harmless, he carries out plots of "Thrashing" with a joyful smirk across his squishy face.
He is the most deserving of the title "Chaos Child", with a gremlin voice and a stuffy tone.
I'm...! (Jump effort) The BAD GUY!

Why have a goat or a mom when you could have both?
Toriel's main characteristic, her motherly attitude, makes her quite popular in the neighborhood. Befriending the locals, participating in the church's choir, and being a loving mother to Kris despite their child's mischievousness.
Whether she's baking a pie, boogieing with a funny skeleton, or avoiding her ex, she does so with love. (Maybe not that last one).

The Mewmewqueen
Alphys is socially anxious and struggles to make friends on her own despite her crush's insistence. Her interests make her worry about being judged and she's very adverse to conflict, finding it hard to discipline her own students for misbehaving.
She might not have much self-esteem, but she can name every episode of "Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 2".

Although Christmas Cheer might not be near, the Deer is here.
Noelle is awfully timid, unable to fully express her concerns and discomfort without issue. When she's comfortable, she is very friendly and peachy. That being said, she has a strange fascination with things that scare her, including Susie.
Being the idealized girl next door, her voice is cheerful and warm, though sheepish and stuttering when nervous.

A Smartypants without pants. Smarts are debatable.
Although not a bad guy, his perceived intellect makes him act out arrogantly towards his peers, insisting he knows better than everyone else. His inflated ego gets him only so far, relying on snarky insults and help from Noelle to maintain his air of superiority.
His smug attitude makes his nasally voice harder to listen to.

Catti is a cat perpetually stuck on a Monday.
She acts like the stereotypical uninterested teen, distracted by her phone and being embarrassed by her far more outgoing family. Her sister likes the ukulele, and Catti likes trying to summon demons.
She may not appear like everyone else living hometown, but she's not a bad cat. What small friend group she has she is very loyal to, willing to declare people as their enemies if they cross them.
Her voice, just like her, is uninterested and flat. Nonchalant incarnate.

A Jock with a Ton of heart.
One of the popular students in Kris's class, he's super "chill" and "bodacious". He struggles academically, but his personality and athletic prowess carry his rep, dude.
It would be tubular if he had a cool surfer-bro voice that passed positive vibe checks, man.
