Delicious in Dungeon Dub snippet (cosplay comp audio)
Project Overview
The full script does take place in chapter 85 of the Dungeon Meshi manga.
This will be used for an audio of a cosplay competition at a convention happening over Labor Day weekend in the US. My friend @alhelil.s on Instagram is competing as Dungeon Lord Marcille, and wants an audio that captures the fear, uncertainty, and overwhelming doom that I felt while reading the manga.
If you want to check out the source material, the easiest way is to watch the anime on Netflix. The first season just finished airing in mid-June of this year, so you'll be able to get a decent enough understanding of what the series is about. It's also fantastic; the more people I convince to watch it, the better.

Recording Quality
it is required to have an XLR microphone or one with comparable quality to submit.
No background noise
If your submission is lacking in either bullet point, you will not be considered.

Looking for a character voice match to Laios Touden, played officially by Damian Haas. A vocal reference is provided below.
Despite being looked down on by most characters, Laios is an incredibly strong fighter and the party's leader. He uses the knowledge gained from cooking monsters to develop techniques to defeat them, but is also shown to have certain mythological and biological factors of them memorized. This scene takes place towards the end of the story where one of his party members is overcome by madness. This is his attempt to gently snap her out of the trance she is under, as she is in an extremely fragile state of mind. This is also purely platonic.
