Project Overview

hello everyone! this is my second time around doing a abridged episode. this time on another one of my favorite shows, this is a far more silly and less serious project then the actual show, as the purpose for this is to just make people laugh, that being said there will be cursing and other things of that nature. i will try to upload this to youtube but there is a chance it might get taken down, aswell as TikTok and odysee (odysee is a youtube alternative and will be posting there as backup just in case it gets taken down from youtube) like the last project i did, depending on how the episode goes we may do a second episode but i’m not sure. also the production of the episode may take a while as im writing, editing and ect on my own. but the episode im guessing will only be about 8 minutes long so it shouldn’t take too long, that being said i hope we can have a fun time bring this to life!

  • good news!/ update on death note abridged

    I have some good news! I'm still getting the footage for the video and chopping it down, but it did pass the Youtube auto checker meaning it should be good to air on Youtube! this may not seem that important but the Youtube check was a disaster at the end of my last abridged project, with that being said, I'm still writing the script for the video but it should be done sometime this week, and then we can get this ball rolling! I look forward to working with you all

in cannon, Light Yagami is the main protagonist of death note. after finding the death note he decides to use it to rid the world of criminals and enforce his own sense of justice onto the world, becoming the god of the new world. but of course this is going to be a more silly take on the character. in the abridged death note Light is unhappy with the way the world is in 2024. he hates brain-rot terms and is pushed over the edge after having to listen to it for hours in class, he decides to use the death note to fix the world and make it how he sees fit, not necessarily just killing criminals

Ryuk is one the the main character of death note and is a Shinigami (god of death) and lives in the Shinigami realm ( in the abridged the Shinigami realm is just Wyoming) and drops his death note into the human realm simply because he’s bored. as the Shinigami realm is mostly empty with nothing to do, so he goes along with Light just for the entertainment. since Ryuk looks wacky you don’t need to sound a certain way to voice him, you can try to stay close to how he sounds like in the show or just go crazy and come up with your own voice for the character, either or is fine

in cannon lights teacher isn’t a important character as he doesn’t really do anything at all. But in the abridged this teacher is the reason Light decides to pick up the death note, as this teacher only talks about brain rot and makes light answers several brainrot related questions, driving light mad. since this is just a goofy character you can do any voice for him

this is the news reporter that informs Light of his first victim (that will be P.diddy) only has maybe 3 lines so audition lines will probably be used. therefore take the character in any direction you want!

in the show this biker is a jerk and him and his gang of other bikers attack a women on the street across from light yagami, Light seeing that he's attacking someone uses the death note to kill him by getting him hit by a truck. to further drive Light insane and to prove his point that the world we live in needs to be fixed, he will embody everything light hates, he'll be loud, obnoxious, inconsiderate of others, and worst of all have brain rot...
