Death Note: The Abridged Series is an ongoing parody series on youtube. We're currently holding open auditions for two characters. Misa Amane and the Shinigami Rem. These Auditions will be female only, and must be submitted with serviceable audio quality by April 30. These characters' episode debut is still in process of being scripted and the lines available are merely an approximation to capture the essence of the character. If you audition and are selected, please understand we are requiring a commitment for you to record for these characters for the entire remainder of the series. You may audition for both characters, please audition each line only once. Thank you and we look forward to listening to your auditions.

Misa is Young, Naive and but smarter than she would ever give herself credit for. She is in love with Kira and worships him as a god that she wants nothing more than to serve. To portray her one must convey love, adoration and subtle intelligence.
"*passionately* Are you kidding?! I want nothing more than to please Kira and become his Bride!"
"*solemn and determined* Kira was the only one who would punish the man that killed my family. Kira gave me the justice that I needed and for that I am forever indebted to him."
"*intelligently and smuggly* This ought'a get his attention. Why should I bother looking for Kira when I can just bring him to me. *smug giggle*"
Rem is Misa's shinigami and her personal guardian. Rem is devoted to Misa and loves her very deeply. Rem speaks very calmly and solemnly. To portray her one must capture her devotion and skepticism toward anything that could harm Misa. Her voice is rather deep.
"*worried* Misa, are you sure you want to go through with this? I don't want to see you get hurt."
"*skeptical* I don't like this "Light Yagami" Misa I think you should reconsider this."
"*angry and intimidating* Light, if you hurt Misa, if you so much as bring a single tear to her eye, I will end you're life with out a second thought."
