Danganronpa: Pyramid Of Fate Voice Casting- Round 1

Project Overview

Hello Guys, This is a casting for a fangame known as Danganronpa: Pyramid Of Fate. This is only the first round of auditions to test how many people are willing to audition for this project. Just because you don't get a part this time around, doesn't mean your are completely out of the running for it. This project is completely for fun so I hope we can enjoy this together. This will be in the style of a visual novel turned into a video series.

I am look for people that are comfortable using the English Language and Transends the character's personalities. Danganronpa is a very unique thing so don't be scared to make the characters a little out there. Please and I mean please have a decent quality mic when auditioning. This will have a lot of voice acting for there are a lot of different cgs and scenes planned for this video series.

Tsuyo is a very no-nonsense type of woman. With the persistence of a tiger and the glare of a demon, her extraordinary analytical skills is what led to her extraordinary talent. With a bold and brash demeanor, which is only partly true of her real personality, she is normally shrouded by her tv persona. In reality, she’s a very closed off and reserved girl, deciding to converse only when necessary. Or when her brother forces her to. Will her Philophobia keep her from making connections with others, or will her childish nature rear its head, just like her abnormal love for chocolate?

Looking for a mid-ranged voice. Maybe even slightly deeper but for the most part mid-ranged

 Friendly, bold, and generally a caring person, Sokudo tends to bring out a side of people that others normally can’t, sometimes even without their knowledge. He embraces his childish personality, smiling wide and acting like the generic “big bro” to his little Tsu. However, it's not too challenging to grow annoyed by his overbearing airheadedness. With his mind always on the road, he’s the type that will never turn down a good race, even if it might to his disadvantage.

Slightly deep voice. He has a bit of a slang using "ya" and "whatcha".

  • "Eh?! Why am I always the idiot? My grades were always impeccable... My attendance.. Just didn't match up hehe."

  • (sad) "I just wanna race, that's all I ask for. I can't do it in such a claustrophobic place. It's like racing cars on a single lane, It's impossible!"

A strong believer of Fate, Kaoru is very cool headed to his core. Believing that if it was meant to happen, it will happen no matter what. He is intelligent and very conscious of his surroundings. Enjoying life is one of his top priorities. Anything or anyone that disrupts his peace and tranquility is an automatic annoyance to him. He will proceed to confront that annoyance any way he can, even if it might seem a little out of character.

I'm looking for a mature voice with a slight surfer accent. His way of speaking is a little more proper then the average surfer.

The little elf of Japan is nothing more than a childish psychopath. Quiet, soft-spoken, and immature, games are his forte. His actions can be quite disturbing although unintentional. Most of the time, he's usually seen alone talking to his doll, Missy.

He has a high-pitched voice, almost childlike. He can be voiced by a girl.

  • "My name is Otoro Matsudo, little elf of Japan. I make toys but no one to play with..."

  • 'Play with me big sis. Come on, please? Just one round."

Mikio is a love struck girl with a huge fascination for fairytale romances. Mikio is very energetic and easy to fall in "love." She is absolutely infatuated with her fantasies and wants about 10 kids. However, her energetic character is usually shadowed by her overly jealous demeanor which is often to the extreme.

Sleazy dirtbag. Or at least that's what… everyone… calls him? Swearing everytime he opens his mouth, Ryu is known for his cockiness, underhanded card tricks, and overly perverted and flirtatious demeanor.  But "he ain't lookin for no Juliet… or Julio" as he says. Although he lacks human decency and standards, he might not be as bad as everyone believes him to be. Just don’t utter the word nun around him or he’ll break down in fear. 

Im looking for a mid deep voice for this part. I don't mind a new york accent but just know that he's very vocal and full of emotion.

Yukanori Takuyo- Ultimate Flag Girl

A very blunt and strong hearted woman, Yukanori, or General Yu, is the brutal "Flag General" of Ishiba Academy. Due to her home life, she is very militant based and can seem a little insensitive because of that. She truly has a hatred towards people who oversexualizing women and will make an effort to show off that power is more attractive then showing a little leg.

Yukanori has a mid-ranged voice with some power behind her words. I really need a strong and confident voice for her.

I'm looking for a mid-high ranged voice with a little bit of flare and sass to it. I'm not looking for extremely exaggerated flamboyancy in his voice, but a slight femininity to his voice.

Nao is very optimistic person with a solid head on here shoulders. At times her come back can make her seem relatively "slow" to other people. Nine out of ten times, she is seen with her brother, mysteriously communicating with him. 

Nao's voice is high pitched and very child like. Doesn't have to be insanely high though

An exchange student, born in japan and raised in southern india. Fira is a very motherly woman with the best intentions in mind at all times. She assumes the best in others, even when they act weird or ignorantly. She has a bad habit of flirting when she doesn't mean to. She is very impulsive when it comes to good clothing and wanting everyone to wear their sunday best.

I want a midtone voice for this role. Either with an Indian accent or a more regal sounding voice.

A very cartoonish but usually quiet character. He tends to be more to himself unless he's putting off his persona CherryBmb. 

He has a fairly deep announcer voice. Very strongly spoken when he does speak. Speaks with a little bit of slang.

Ms. Sasori is a very ditsy woman with an unusual outlook on life. Very protective of the youth and their futures, she tries to push aside her introverted nature to become a leader for her student (although most of the time, it fails dramatically)

She has a normal mid ranged voice however when she's in teacher mode, he voice deepens and become slightly robotic.

  • "My students mean the world to me! I live to see the paths that you guys will take in life. There's a thousand possiblity for the future!"

  • "Im not old! Why do you guys have to be so mean to a lady? Im not even in my 30rd's yet..."

  • (Deep droned out voice; somewhat robotic)"If you need the solution the an answer as simple as that, I recommend follow the standard known as PEMDAS. If that can not be done, you are simply insufficient."

The Mascots of Danganronpa POF

Hikariko is self absorbed and has a regal heir to the way she speaks. Always quick to make an insulting remark. Her voice is light and mid pitched

Yamiko is a dull and sassy like nature. Her humor is "Miu" like, always taking an opportunity to make an inappropriate joke. Her voice has a little more lifeless then hikariko but pretty much the same pitch

I prefer them to be voiced by the same person but if you only want to audition for one, just voice the lines that you want to audition for.

  • Hikariko: Why I never! How dare a harlet such as yourself insult a regal being like me? I am what you children refer to as a BAD BITCH. Understood?

  • Yamiko: Ha! You're a love master that can't find love? The irony! Maybe if you stop chasing the limp dick bisexual over there, you'd have a better chance.

  • both: Be honest. Now that you understand the gravity of our situation, do you truly trust the people around you?
