Danganronpa: Killswitch is an independently developed fangame based on the series of Japanese murder investigation visual novels: Danganronpa. It features a brand new cast of characters and a new scenario independent of the conflict of the main series; incorporating new elements not present within the main series. In its finalized state, it is anticipated to feature six chapters of story, full class trial gameplay, partial voice acting, and around 150,000 words of dialogue.
"It was the brainchild of famed academic, Johan Kunsson, inspired by a private academy in Japan, to form an international academy of the best and brightest students of the world in a multitude of fields. This academy, come to be known as Arcadia after his vision of harmony and collaboration between students, would employ experimental learning techniques, radical new ideas about diversity, and notably a traveling classroom in the form of an extended stay cruise ship equipped with classrooms and academic facilities.
His vision however, never came to fruition.
On the first day courses were to begin, the freshman class of Arcadia, Class IV, found themselves unceremoniously awoken aboard Kunsson's infamous nautical classroom under entirely different circumstances. A peculiar villain by the name of Monokami claimed to have taken Kunsson's place as headmaster and intended to introduce the first of the Academy's experimental learning exercises: The Killing Journey. The students were mortified to learn the exercise would require them to murder another of their classmates in order to obtain passage back to land.
One student in particular, Evelyn Taylor: The Ultimate Professor, sought to have nothing to do with Monokami's exercise and began a campaign to undermine the new headmaster's plans and thus, beginning the story of Danganronpa: KillSwitch."

This Casting Call audition is intended to cast voices to provide partial voice acting for the demo of Danganronpa: KillSwitch. Voice Actors cast will only be expected to provide voices for the first chapter of the game and will be at no obligation to remain with the project beyond that point. (They can choose to remain however, if they so wish) The demo is intended for release in March 2020, so once cast, actors will have a period of approximately two months to record dialogue. This will include full voice acting for cutscenes and action segments (Known as Class Trials) as well as incidental stock dialogue to use outside of cutscenes.
In trying to create a high quality end product, auditioners should have decent recording equipment free of ambient sound, extraneous "burst" audio, and clear recording quality. While lower quality auditions will not be automatically rejected, final casting may be contingent on submission of higher quality material. Thank you and good luck!
