The Price of Power Full cast Audiobook

Project Overview

Project details

Hi everyone!

We are back again with another dramatised audiobook adaptation! Please be sure to read the below details carefully!

Synopsis

Destiny stalks three to the brink of oblivion.

A dead prince who isn’t dead now spends his time burying his shameful past in a stupor of drugs, drink, and crime; who’d rather watch the world fall apart than wear the crown again.

An orphan with hero’s blood who’s forced to make a harrowing choice: betray her country or sacrifice her first love.

And a powerful seer who has no choice at all – her grandson must die to save the world.

If any of them fails to pay the price… the cost will be the world’s complete annihilation.

 Project Details:

  • This project is going to be a fully dramatized audiobook version of book one: “The Price of Power” in the series of Dreams of Dust and Steel. Please find the original title here: https://www.amazon.com/Price-Power-Fantasy-Dreams-Steel-ebook/dp/B0F1GWM6Z6/

Accent Guide:

  • Common - Medieval English (Game of Thrones like)

  • Anjuhkar - Icelandic

  • Kurg - Farsi/Persian

$724.44 USD

Character Info –

Locastrii is one of our main characters who has first-person narration chapters. She is an older woman known as The Mistress of Time, with special abilities allowing her to see through time and space. She has an impossible task: train her grandson to die. Voice type needed:

  • FEMALE - 70+ Older woman.

  • Medieval English known as Common accent

  • Character archetype – Older woman’s voice, with a deeper range. Has the ability to sound like a cranky boss lady.

  • Narration: A gust of wind sets the elm tree’s branches to scrabbling and kicks my shawl off one shoulder. Frigid air coils around my suddenly bare neck. I pull the shawl back into place and resume my grandson’s assessment from the shadowed boughs of the tree. He does not know I watch.

  • Narration: My daughter. His greatest obstacle. The woman is too damn good a mother. Bitterness clogs the back of my throat. Resentment fills me. I wish I’d been half so caring, half so good to her as she is to the boy. It’s too late for sentiments like that though. I am what I am. Hopefully, it is enough. I laugh at the irony of it all. Who could have guessed an exceptional mother might be the downfall of humanity?

  • Character: Save it for someone who cares, little fly. Just make sure my bed is satisfactory when I seek it, which will be shortly. You’re not the only one with heavy thoughts on the mind.
