Project Overview
Hello there! Welcome to Fraternal Fragmentation, a Danganronpa Fan Game that I'm in the process of making into a reality!
My name is Ike, and I'm a 21-year-old college student from Pennsylvania! I'm also a cosplayer on TikTok and Instagram! Like so many others out there (and I'm assuming most everyone viewing this), I'm a HUGE fan of the Danganronpa series. While I love the story, and feel that the main series has run it's course, I'm always interested in continuing to enjoy new plots, characters, and killing games! Fraternal Fragmentation has been something I've had in the works in terms of planning for about a year, and I'm so excited to finally begin turning it into something for real!
The story follows Ran Nakamura, the ultimate ballerina, as the protagonist. Ran, along with fifteen other ultimate students, is invited to Praised Sires' academy - A highly prestigious school that employs the best instructors, offers the highest-class environments, and graduates the most successful students. While normally incredibly selective and expensive, it has decided to partner with Hope's Peak and offer a full scholarship to fifteen ultimate students, as well as one randomly-selected lucky student. Anyone would be excited to go! But everything turns south when the sixteen wake up in the lobby of an empty school, told by a monochrome bear that they must kill one another to escape.

Character: Ran Nakamura, the ultimate ballerina! (She/Her)
Pronunciation: RAN // nah-kah-MOOR-uh
Voice type: Medium-High; clear and confident, usually pretty happy, high energy, but not crazy, a bit hesitant at times
Personality: She's a very positive person by nature, tries to see the best in all people and situations, high-spirits, an energetic disposition, trusting of others, puts her faith in people easily, super hopeful, wants to help keep everyone together whenever possible, makes friends easily, also very insecure, tends to berate herself whenever she makes a mistake, frightened of being alone

Character: Akio Yamazaki, the ultimate philosopher! (He/Him)
Pronunciation: AH-key-oh // yah-mah-ZAH-key
Voice type: Deep; Calm and collected, succinct, says everything like he knows exactly what he wants to get across, very articulate, not incredibly emotional as he speaks
Personality: Extremely uptight, doesn’t smile, finds others annoying extremely easily, doesn’t talk much, when he does talk, only says what’s important, but also quotes philosophers often remains by himself most of the time, thinks that he’s smarter than others, gets angry quickly, doesn’t experience outward emotions much, will keep all of his emotions to himself, kind of intimidating at a first glance, gives genuinely good advice

Character: Daiji Fujikura, the ultimate basketball star! (He/Him)
Pronunciation: DIE-gee // foo-gee-KOO-rah
Voice type: Medium; Energetic, happy pretty much all the time, sort of joking characteristic to his voice
Personality: Highly energetic and excitable, loves talking to others and making friends, rarely seen without a smile, extremely extroverted and gains a lot of his energy from being around others, not the sharpest knife in the drawer, highly trusting, feigns a lot of the confidence that he puts forth, often feels extremely inadequate, thinks that he didn’t deserve his invitation to Praised Sires’

Pronunciation: foo-MOO-key // sen-GOH-koo
Voice type: Medium; Refined, but not necessarily uptight, knows what she's talking about, usually calm, confident
Personality: Very dignified, is extremely intelligent and will subtly brag about it, usually the voice of reason, a very balanced and almost calming energy, can remain level-headed in the face of danger, mostly kind to others, tries to keep others calm, somewhat of a leader, cannot stand mess of any sort, a bit stuck up, will put her own safety first without thinking about it

Character: Hideyoshi Minami, the ultimate lucky student! (He/Him)
Pronunciation: hee-day-YOH-shee // mih-NAH-mee
Voice type: Medium to High; Laid-back, usually pretty sarcastic, kind, speaks like he doesn't have a care in the world
Personality: Caring, will put the needs of others far before his own, protective of everyone unless proven that he shouldn’t be, highly empathetic, loves to see the best in others, an extremely laid back person, sarcastic and snarky, humor as a coping mechanism trope, trusting to a fault, mildly insecure about his talent, but not overly so, if you hurt someone he loves he’ll go slightly feral

Pronunciation: It-SOO-key // EE-boo
Voice type: Medium; Very deadpan, usually sounding slightly irritated, can be softer, but it's not as common, his voice is definitely dark
Personality: He’s incredibly standoffish, not wanting to talk to anyone or have anyone talk to him, he’s kind of mean when you first meet him, isolates himself from others, quick to anger, wants absolutely nothing to do with you, will just straight up ignore people when they try and talk to him, secretly very soft, protective and loving towards people he cares about

Pronunciation: JOON // toh-koo-GAH-wah
Voice type: Medium-low; Very calm, doesn't show a lot of emotion in her voice, a tad on the quiet side
Personality: Kind hearted; a bit gruff at first; will warm up quickly; often quiet; sticks to the people she’s most comfortable with; Kinda shy, but it comes off as just more standoffish and rude at first; can be loud if angered; but not easily angered; usually level-headed; very much so street smart over book smart, but not dumb

Character: Katsumi Abe, the ultimate drag racer! (They/Them)
Pronunciation: cat-SOO-me // AH-bay
Voice type: Medium; Extremely energetic, expresses a lot of emotion, very laid back, their voice has a lot of happiness in it
Personality: Extremely outgoing, INCREDIBLY positive, really has no filter/boundaries, highly excitable and energetic, doesn’t always think before they act, jumps into situations head first, super friendly, almost always smiling

Pronunciation: kee-MEE-koh // COH-duh
Voice type: High; Very sweet and almost singing, on the quiet side, calm, almost like a disney princess, her emotion comes through quite a bit
Personality: Caring, wants nothing more than to help others, soft-spoken (but not shy), fairly smart, dislikes her instrument, a bit dependent on others, kind of unsure, cares deeply what others think of her, she will support the people she cares about no matter what

Voice type: High; Quiet and reserved, a bit on the mousy side, hesitant as she speaks, gets shaky when she gets upset
Personality: Very quiet, sweet on the outside, has issues trusting others, tends to assume the worst, extremely devoted personality, isolates herself from others to avoid being hurt by them, religious, will talk about God and tell you how he can help you

Voice type: Medium-Low; Energetic, usually bright, has a huge range, very clear, on the louder side, confident
Personality: Highly excitable, cares for everyone else, just wants to help other people, loves to show her affection for others with hugs and compliments, will life you up like a drunk girl in the bathroom, leaps before she looks, the voice of reason when it comes to certain people, insecure about her looks, worries what others think of her

Pronunciation: oh-SAH-moo // GOH
Voice type: Medium-High; Super eccentric, speaks fast, voice shows a lot of emotion, always sounds excited, always talks like he knows what he's talking about
Personality: Very energetic, gets excited easily, talks a lot, really smart, but acts childish to an extent, avoids confrontation, will ramble about nothing unless someone stops him, makes friends easily, deterred easily by failure, hates making mistakes more than anything

Pronunciation: SOH-mah // ee-MAH-ree
Voice type: Medium; Speaks with a stutter, very nervous, speaks as if he's second-guessing everything, shaky, usually keeps his voice down
Personality: Extremely anxious, scared of a huge number of things, very jumpy and easily startled, low self-esteem and poor self-image,a bit broken by his past, he is highly caring though, and will support people with everything that he has to give, while he can function on his own, he becomes slightly dependent on others for support.

Voice type: Medium; Very over-the-top, full of emotion, extremely theatrical, very bright and energetic, always full of life
Personality: Very over-the-top, everything he does is very dramatic and extra, speaks poetically, incredibly flirty, likes to make others smile, will do a trick to make your day, kind of elitist when it comes to magic, overtly positive, gets annoyed easily, but hides it behind a smile

Voice type: Medium-High; Super bubbly, you can hear the smile in her voice, bright and excited, crystal clear voice
Personality: Very sweet, wants nothing more than to make others happy, likes to make people laugh, almost always smiling, sees the best in people, secretly has a lot of emotional trouble, has a lot of issue motivating herself, hides her sadness for the sake of others

Voice type: Medium-low; very confident, clearly narcissistic, clearly a diva by the way she talks, speaks with purpose, almost talking like she's in a vlog at all times
Personality: Extremely full of herself, standoffish to her classmates, thinks she’s better than everyone, won’t really give you the time of day, kind of insecure about her flaws, but will act like you’re the one who’s wrong, will pretend to be nice to others, will say a compliment to your face and then turn around and pretend she didn’t mean it, even thought she probably did
