Project Overview
THIS IS AN ENGLISH DUB OF THE DANGANRONPA: TRIGGER HAPPY HAVOC DEMO.
PLOT:
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Demo is a visual novel game for the PlayStation Portable. You take control of Makoto, a normal student who was invited to join Hope's Peak Academy via lottery, a high school to develop and research the talents of exceptional high school-age teenagers known as Ultimates. However, things go wrong once he wakes up and finds himself locked in Hope's Peak Academy with 14 other students, forced to participate in a Killing Game by a very strange two-faced remote-controlled bear known as Monokuma. It's up to him and several other students to solve the mystery of the school, find out who's controlling Monokuma, and find out who's the killer at Class Trials, or they'll face horrific executions.
The demo is an interesting piece of media, since it was never localized and therefor never got an English dub like the main game. There was a mod made for the game to give it English subtitles, and this project is taking that one step further. You can finally not only see, but hear your favorite characters surviving past Chapter 1.
- We are looking for voice actors who can IMITATE the original voices from the games as close as possible.
- YOU MUST HAVE A PROFESSIONAL SOUNDING MIC. If there is too much noise in the background of your submission or the mic is very low quality, you will not be accepted.
- I WILL NOT ACCEPT AUDITIONS FROM PEOPLE YOUNGER THAN 16. If you are under 18, please don't audition, but if you do I won't accept any younger than 16. This game features mature topics. It should not be played by those younger than 18.
- This game has swearing. It's NOT mild and you must be okay with that.
- You must be committed to giving in your lines before the deadline and as soon as possible. We work on a tight schedule and I have had to deal with people not doing their work on time before, all it does is halter the project and makes you seem less professional unless you have a valid reason for why you cannot submit it at the time.
- If you are accepted, you must work with a respectful attitude and not harrass myself or anyone else working on the project. If you do, we will not give you a warning before removing you from the team, as toxic behavior is not acceptable.
HOW TO AUDITION:
Please title your audition file with the following template: "[Name of actor]_[First name of character]"
Ex: "SuzieSmith_Sayaka"
With your audition, write out your past experience with voice acting (if you have any) or if you have experience in other forms of acting, put those down there. It would also be helpful to know your age but I won't force anyone to release that information.

Monokuma is often described as easygoing and cheerful at first glance, but with a very sinister undertone. However, he always rather quickly reveals his evil nature by describing killing games and his desire for despair, and he is very well known for his habit to say and do whatever he wants to. He loves hysteria, violence, and chaos, summarized in one of his catchphrases "thrills, chills, kills!". He also has his own signature laughs, a sadistic "puhuhu" ("upupupu" in the Japanese version) and a mocking "ah-hahahaha".

Makoto proclaims himself to be a very ordinary person, to the point that he seems a bit insecure about it. He does admit to having one distinguishing feature, that being his unique sense of optimism.

Leon is a passionate, hot-blooded young teenager. He often slacks off from studying and baseball practice; however, his baseball skills never diminish due to his status as Ultimate Baseball Star. Leon is also strongly interested in girls and braggs about his great success with women to Makoto.
Yo! Leon Kuwata’s the name! Wuddup, brudda!!

Kyoko is a stoic, intelligent, and mysterious girl who tends to hide her feelings. She has a calm demeanor and tends to be completely unfazed by most of the events that occur, even at the sight of a dead body. At the beginning of the game, Kyoko often keeps her distance from the other students while investigating. Prior to the investigation to find the way out with no casualties, Kyoko doesn't seem to cooperate with the other students and does most of the investigating by herself. She plays major roles in solving mysteries of the culprits in Class Trials and is also one of very few students that see things objectively and doesn't jump to conclusions in the trial, making her a valuable ally to Makoto.

Sayaka is the Super High School Level Idol and for a good reason, she has a very talented singing voice. Combined with that, she has a cheerful, sweet, lighthearted, and supporting personality, expressing a kind demeanor and pleasant disposition, although it is unknown if this is only because of her status as an idol.

Aoi is a warm, cheerful, upbeat, and outgoing girl who is friendly and welcoming towards everyone she meets, trying to make friends with everybody and include them in her activities. Aoi can be quite air-headed and forgetful, relying on the memory trick of writing peoples' names three times on her hand in order to remember them.
