Project Overview

ABOUT :


Danganronpa: Balanced Visions is a non-profit fanmade Danganronpa game. It is currently in development, and it will follow the same structure as the 3 main Danganronpa games, but with it's unique characters, locations, and story. 

Eighteen students find themselves to now be trapped in Flux Lagui University, a zen-inspired university that they believed was formed to assist the most talented individuals in the world work to their fullest potential. Instead, Notakuma, the floating eyeball  monochrome headmaster, swiftly informs them that they are now forced to play a killing game. You play as Mirai Nonaka, the Ultimate Child Prodigy, whose goal is to end the killing game... But will she succeed?

NOTES : 

-This fangan is entirely nonprofit due to it being inspired in an existing game and to avoid copyright. Therefore, we are not able to provide any monetary compensation to our volunteers. Thank you for understanding!

-Please present good audio quality. The audio should have little to no background noise and be clear enough to add to a videogame. Avoid cell phone microphones unless you can make sure their quality will be comparable to a condenser microphone.

-You are allowed to audition for as many characters as you wish.Further feedback on your audition / acting for a specific character (s) may be provided. Auditioning for more than one character is highly recommended but not needed.

- If you have multiple auditions and prefeer one character over the other, please send that information to #BunnyDev#2129 or through direct messages. I'd like to take into account not only talent and who I personaly believe fits the character best, but also take into consideration the actor's wishes as much as possible. It's the least I can do when the project is volunteer based <3

  • Casting ends in three days.

    I'd like to ask everyone that has auditioned to ony one role to consider auditioning for more roles. With over a HUNDRED auditions (side note: HOLY MOLY I wasn't expecting this much interest) my heart breaks knowing I will only be able to cast eighteen of you. I want to avoid double-casting, but it might happen, and I'd hate to not give the opportunity to people who realy want to be part of this project. Again, thank you so much for your support. This suggestion is totaly optional to follow and the ammount of auditions you make won't affect your chances of getting a role, but I figured a reminder wouldn't hurt <3 Ciao, and thank you for making my dream true! I extended the audition period so that I can have at least 1 entry for each character, which I don't believe would be possible with the deadline. ABOUT:

Notakuma is the main villain of the game. Similarly to the original game's villain, Monokuma, he is sadistic and wishes  to stir as mmuch death for entertainment as possible. He is a floating eyeball, and his main gimmick is that he seems to see and know it all.



VOICE SPECIFICATIONS: 


Is normal situations, Notakuma sounds rather demonic, but unsettling to the point of making you anxious around him. When serious, is voice can beterrifying and unsettling, with a very uneven and fluctuating pitch at times. This can be achieved with audio editing, so have fun with your audition! This role allows for creativity and your own spin on things.

Oliver Mill, the Ultimate bouncer, can come off as Intimidating and closed off. However, He really doesn't wish to stop others when they're misbehaving, unless asked by a friend.

His tone of voice is serious, but not overly so. Midly expressive, low to low-mid vocal range.

ABOUT:

The Ultimate Cleaner can be found at many different places, always cleaning houses, buildings, schools, and mansions to upmost perfection. He enjoys nurturing his clients by giving them the best service possible.
Despite his cold exterior, Mikael is very friendly and sweet.



VOICE SPECIFICATIONS:

Mikael almost always sounds pleasant, being a very positive person, fun to be around. Expressive, Low to Low-mid vocal range.

ACCENT:

His accent is entirely optional and won't detriment your audition if you choose not to display it. Mikael comes from Belgium, his main language being French. A Belgian accent would be neat too! :)

Shinji, is considered to be the most chaotic person alive by many, which granted him the title of Ultimate Chaos. He works as an audio editor at a music/ entertainment company, Sunset Entertainment. Rumor has it that people bet big sums of money in trying to predict what his next venture is gonna be, since he is highly unpredicatble and will put himself in random, sometimes dangerous situations, which he frequently documents on social media.

Shinji is nearly always extremely hysterical and loud. Many consider him to be insane, even. He has moments of clarity and is able to adapt to th

Masao Uesugi is the kind, sweet chef known by many. He is one of the hosts of a famous cooking show. On the side, he cooks for celebrities.

ABOUT:

Game's protagonist!
Mirai Nonaka is a child prodigy who knows exactly what she wants. She's kind, proud and humble, but she can get too focused on her tasks and beliefs though, and is a bit of a perfectionist. Mirai can be a pessimist when things don't go perfectly according to plan. She helps her mother with her makeup company, which gets her the nickname of "Mini-CEO" in news outlets.
She usualy takes leadership roles, and very often gets angry when people don't take her seriousily because of her age.
Despite being 12 years old, Mirai was able to enroll in Flux Lagui University because of her unrivaled intelligence.

VOICE SPECIFICATIONS:

Mirai almost always sounds energised and ready to tackle any problem she faces, and such is very visible in her tone. Her pitch lowers a bit when she's sad or angry, but she tends to be high-pitched.
