Dandelion Hill | Animated Short Student Film (16 & Older!)
Project Overview
Dandelion Hill is a 2D animated student film I'm currently working on until April/May.
Logline: A girl suddenly loses her best friend one summer day.
As the girl climbs a hill they always wanted to visit, she faces memories of the past and grief.
(The story spans around 4 minutes in length and may change slightly during production.)
I'm only looking for two voice actors for this small project.
There is limited dialogue of only around 10 lines (including some reaction sounds) each.
Auditions close on October 28th at 5PM CDT.
Callbacks: I will message you around Friday, October 30th on Casting Call Club to see if you accept your role. Once you do, we can decide on preferred methods of communication. I'm open to Discord, Instagram, and email.
I'll share the script and further information once roles are accepted and assigned.
Lines are planned to be due around November 14th (2 weeks after roles are assigned).
After that there may or may not be any further lines needed depending on changes during production.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 16 or older
Equipment doesn't need to be fancy (as long as there is little to no background noise and your voice is clear)
Communication is imperative to this project and timeliness, so only apply if you think you can meet the 2 week deadline listed above (November 14th)
You are free to audition for both. You can absolutely try multiple takes and improvise the lines.
I'm looking for emotion in some of the lines and a feeling of closeness (since the film focuses on a connection between two characters)
