Project Overview

Hi guys! Halo back here for ya. So I am currently in the process of self publishing a book and am making and selling an audiobook using my script. We need a ton of voice actors!


You will get paid. To get casted, you MUST have a good mic. We are selling this audiobook and can't have any background noise. I WILL be picky. There MAY be some cursing. Also this is a mystery young adult book with some adult themes. There is cybercrime, cyberbullying, domestic violence, abuse, trauma, mental disorders, and stalking in this. Please be comfortable with that. 


If you get casted, you will have to sign a contract with the rules and such. You can read through the whole thing. It'll pretty much say that you won't be rude to other VAs, won't spoil anything, and won't try to change the price based off what we agree on. 


The casting for this will probably extend longer than the deadline. If I find someone i think is a good fit, I will cast them early though. So I recommend you audition as soon as you can.

The plotline: 

Lifeview is taking the world by storm. This new social media/ livestreaming app has been taking the world by storm as people have become consumed with the idea of having their viewers watch them 24/7 without fail. After the app is shown being used for illegal purposes though, Chord and Rebekkah must work together to put an end to it and discover who is behind all this.

The pay is per hour. Estimate is around 2-4 hours. 

Rebekkah is one of the main characters along with Chord Price. She is about 20 years old and has PTSD and a troubled past. She has somewhere between 300-500 lines on estimation. 

Anytime she's stressed, she practices tae kwon do. She also loves to draw. She hopes to be an art student and to have her artwork shown to where the world can see. She's very impatient and stubborn. 

  • I watch as he swings his guitar case over his shoulder, and pushes his gigantic square glasses up on his nose. He holds his songbook firmly in one hand and puts his lucky pencil behind his ear. He takes off his Yankees baseball cap with his other hand.

    I crouch behind the red, beaten up lockers in awe of him. He's the talk of the whole school! He made promises over the intercom the first day of freshman year that he would be a famous musician before we graduate.

    I continue to stare. He can do it. No one else believes in him, but I do. He’s just so passionate and never talks to anyone because he's so fixated on his music. The only time he interacts with others is when they ask about his music.

    Before I know what's happening, my legs start carrying me closer to him. I can't stop them. I ache to hear his music. My heart races.

    “Chord Price,” I squeak.

Chord is one of the other main characters and also a narrator. He is about 21 years old. He has about 300-500 lines on estimation. The pay is per hour. He probably has between 2-3 hours of dialogue.

He's very impatient. He's a famous singer. He went to high school with Rebekkah, but then moved to Hollywood to jump start his career. He's very lovable and is definitely a lot of people's favorite character

I scroll through all the messages and photos bombarding my phone. Some messages immediately catch my eye. Many of them mention this one app: Lifeview. 

                Everyone I know is talking about it. Talking about how they're using it because it’s new trend. My stomach drops at the thought of it. Is this a good idea?

                This sounds creepy, if you ask me.

                As I drive home, I have a pit in my stomach at the thought that people are being watched every single moment. It must be interesting, to say the least."

Pay is per hour. Luna probably has about an hour of dialogue. She probably has about 150 lines. 


Luna is Native American. She seems very stuck up in the first chapter but has a lot to her. She also has some mental health problems suffering from schizophrenia. She is best friends with Rebekkah and calls her "Bek". She can seem stuck up but really, she just cares about Rebekkah and her little sister more than anything.

Amaia is the epitome of a conceited "popular" girl. She's a model and seems really stuck up. She is in a fake relationship with Chord and is about 19 years old. She had a rough family dynamic which is why she is how she is. There's a lot more to her, but you have to really try to see her. She's also lesbian. She has to have a kind of obnoxious probably higher pitched voice.

Carson is in love with Rebekkah. He stutters nervously anytime he talks to her. He is known for being an amazing hacker hacking into systems all the time. He's pretty nerdy, but some people like him for a while until they learn that he has some "quirky" things going on with him.
