Project Overview
Hey everyone! I'm Zion, AKA Aroandus, and I'm posting here to cast a few people for an hour long demo I have created.
The game has 4 major roles, and 2 supporting roles.
I'm offering money to those who stay for the full project, and not just the demo.
About the game:
Curse of the Blighted is a Passion Project I've been developping for a few months.
using RPG maker with custom scripts/facesets/sprites.
The story of the demo follows Anna, or Zach, as they try to re-obtain their soul after dying in the real world.
They go through a series of tasks and fight some enemies and once they get their soul back, they return the their world and the demo ends. However, the game does not end.

Voice Range: High pitched, Child Like
She's got this aggression about her, so if you don't like yelling, I recommend not trying out for her :)
Anna has a high pitched Anime-ish type voice.
She's very aggressive and bratty, often lashing out and rushing ahead without thinking.
She's very hot-headed and impatient, as well as sassy and sarcastic.
However, she does mature throughout the games story.
As far as her voice, she's very 'tsundere' and 'anime' in the way she talks.
She's not necessarily a rude character, but just someone who is very immature.
*Bossy* "You know, when people tell you their name, it's common courteousy to tell them yours..."
*Angrily* "I can't believe you! You were supposed to be helping me! I'm done listening to you! I just want to get out of here!"
*really sweet* "I really appreciate all that you do for me. And I hope someday I can repay you."
Voice Range: Medium, Chilled Out, Confident.
Zach has this odd confidence about him when it comes to romance, however when it comes to swinging a sword or casting spells, he stays WELL out of combat range and prefers to use words to fight instead of fists.
He's afraid, like anybody would be in his situation, but he's got this strange ability that no matter how bad things get, for some reason he can just barely overcome what he needs to.
Zach isn't a druggy, but he could pretty much sound like one. He puts on the act of being relaxed and calm, even if he's honestly scared out of his mind.
He's also got this sarcasm about him
*flirty* Well hello there. Am I in heaven? Because you are an angel.
"Don't sweat it everything will be fine! *scared* At least I hope so."
"*nervous and thankful* I mean normally my masculinity would be crushed being saved by a girl. But I'm alive, so I'll let it slide. "
Voice Range: Can vary, he almost always wears a mask, so I'll be adding an effect on all his lines anyways. He's got a charming, almost angelic effect to his voice.
If I cast you as him, I'll tell you more about him. All I'll say for now is that he is an immortal.
Thie character is very serious often worrying about Anna's safety more than his own and despite his seriousness he gets along really well with Anna and they're the duo that sort of runs her entire campaign.
The guardian does, and can get upset over things, so he isn't emotionless.
He just takes everything with a grain of salt, and Anna pushes all his buttons because they both have extremely dominant personalities.
"*serious* Don't you touch her."
"*Annoyed* Will you just shut your mouth for two minutes?!"
"If you are to collect your soul, I will be tasked with guarding you for life."
Voice Range: Not a low voice for a girl, but certainly tomboyish. Think Erza from Fairy Tale.
Zach's Guardian is a 16 year old Apprentice Guardian, and this is her first time actually being a Guardian. So she's quite nervous with some of her lines but always wants to keep it serious and professional.
However she gets quite flustered when Zach flirts with her, almost immediately falling for him.
Her voice lacks most emotions and she's always very calm about her situation. However, this changes frequently with her state of mind. She tries her best to be serious and take everything seriously. Sort of like Anna's Guardian. But sometimes she just can't.
She's also a warrior, being extremely good at combat and using a spear, as well as Holy Magical attacks to defend herself.
"*embarrassed* Don't say things like that! This isn't the time to be joking around!"
"*serious* Blighted One, your soul lies deep within the cemetery. Please be careful finding it."
"*sternly, caring* Don't you believe for a second that I'm going to leave you here to die!"
Voice Range: Higher, almost squeaky but not quite.
Jake is Anna's childhood best friend and they were planning on going to their new University together.
He's a minor role and won't be taking part in the main story until the end of Act I.
He's pretty nervous about flying and worried that they're going to crash. It's lead to belive that he survives, but he also dies in the plane crash that brings Anna to the afterlife.
"*Worried* We're going to crash aren't we?!"
"* upset* Having a passion for fencing, and being on an out of control airplane are two very different things!!"
"*sad* Anna.. Please wake up."
Gender or Voice Type and range do not matter here. Go crazy!
This is the voice that tells you that you've died, and that you need to recall who you were in life, so that you can be reborn.
They also serve as a narrator
Oh hey! How long have you been there? It looks like you lost your life. Yup you're dead. That sucks.
So tell me, are you a boy or a girl? ... ... Er right, I forgot you're only a spirit, so you can't communicate back
"I'll let you choose a door, and then you can start your journey in returning back to the real world!"
