Currytopia: Rise of a Nation
They left everything behind.
Not because they knew where they were going. Not because they had a perfect plan. They just wanted somewhere they could start over.
After a difficult journey at sea, a small group of settlers reaches an unexplored coastline with no town waiting for them, no government, and no idea what comes next.
They have to build everything themselves.
Currytopia: Rise of a Nation is an original historical musical following the people who turn that empty land into a home. Along the way, they'll face storms, hunger, mistakes, arguments, new friendships, and the growing question of who gets to decide what happens next.
The first part of the story, The Frontier Saga, follows the earliest days of Currytopia — before it was a nation, when it was just a place and a group of people trying to make it work.
This is an unpaid independent passion project. We're looking for voice actors and singers who want to help bring these characters and their story to life.Requirements
🎵 Singing
You should be comfortable singing for musical roles. You don't need to be a professional singer — we're looking for people who can bring emotion and personality to the songs.
🎙️ Voice Acting
You should be comfortable recording dialogue and taking direction.
💬 Discord
You must have Discord so we can communicate about auditions, rehearsals, and the project.
🎧 Recording
A phone, headset, or microphone is fine. You don't need expensive equipment.
⏰ Availability
Please be able to respond to messages and work on your role when needed.

Voice Actor
Remi is determined, stubborn, caring, and sometimes acts before thinking. They want to find a better and safer place for themselves and the people traveling with them. They don't know they're going to become the founder of Currytopia.
We're not turning around. I don't know what's waiting for us out there, but I know what's waiting for us back home

She's practical, honest, independent, and isn't afraid to tell Remi when they're wrong. Maria eventually leaves to establish Low Ford, creating one of the first major communities outside the original settlement.

Elias is the funny, warm-hearted member of the group. He uses jokes to deal with uncomfortable situations, but underneath the humor he's homesick and worried about his family.
Good news: I found food. Bad news: I think it's been in that barrel longer than I have
I'm not saying your plan is terrible. I'm just saying I'd like to survive long enough to complain about it.
I joke because if I stop joking, I'm going to start thinking about everything I left behind

Careful, responsible, and skeptical, Rowan doesn't always agree with Remi's decisions, especially when survival is at stake. Rowan isn't a villain — they genuinely want everyone to make it through.
Everyone below deck. Now. We can argue about who's right after we survive this.

The Historian narrates the story of Currytopia and presents the “official” version of what happened.
They are confident, knowledgeable, and a little formal. Throughout the story, the characters occasionally correct the Historian, showing that real history is much messier than the official version.
According to the official record, the settlers arrived with a clear plan and enough supplies to last the winter.
They established the settlement exactly where they intended to

Young, energetic, and outspoken. Tamsin is one of the settlers helping build the new community of Currytopia. She brings humor and youthful energy to the group while gradually becoming an important member of the settlement.

Corwin represents the northern community of Ridgeholt. He is practical, business-minded, and focused on negotiations. His interactions with the people of Currytopia bring questions of trade, resources, and fairness into the story.

Tomas is Elias's brother. His journey to Currytopia is delayed because of circumstances involving a debt, but he eventually makes his way to the settlement. His arrival gives Elias an important personal connection to the world outside the original group of settlers.
