"When one realizes that their existence is temporary and ephemeral, they will exert every effort to prolong their life, even if they find themselves in a miserable condition. However, if they come to understand that they will live eternally, they will feel the desire for an existential change and no longer view death with reluctance. Everything eventually becomes tiresome, including life itself."

We are looking for a female voice (aged 20-28) to portray a 268-year-old vampire who was transformed during her early years. Unlike her kindred, she does not wish to live but to die. She no longer experiences pleasure in existence and finds herself in a state of depression. She was turned by a very old vampire, and she cannot die. Each suicide attempt brings her pain followed by resurrection. Some form of occult magic prevents her from experiencing true death. Her quest is to find a way to free herself from the occult force that prevents her from dying.


Her voice is calme and introspective.

    Hello everyone, thank you for all your submissions. At this point, we haven't made our choice for the role of Persephone. We will keep you updated by the end of this month or the beginning of September! All auditions will be taken into consideration.

    About Persephone, she was transformed a few centuries ago at the age of 24. Throughout the centuries, she has had time to reflect and accept her condition. However, she desires to find a solution for her existential pain; Death has become an escape for her. She isn't as emotional as a freshly turned vampire, so the tone of her voice isn't emotional but calm. Even though she is concerned that she can't die like humans and other vampires, she feels a sense of weariness toward life. She perceives her body as a prison, but over the years, she has grown accustomed to it.

    We are mostly looking for the voice of an actress who doesn't sound too young or too old, aligning with her physical body age of 24. A slightly high-pitched tone, but not overly so!

    We already have some favorite voices among the submissions, but we will wait until the deadline to make our final choice.

Unlike her fellow vampires, she doesn't want to live, she wants to die. Transformed by a very old vampire, she is unable to die; each suicide attempt causes her pain and then resurection, and some form of occult magic prevents her from experiencing true death.

  • It's remarkable how humans strive to extend their lifespan, aware of the transience of their presence. Yet, when the opportunity to depart is taken away, as is the case for me, my deepest wish becomes to find peace in death.
