This project is for my Storyboarding class. My group was assigned to do a 5 minute short and I am looking for 3 wonderful talents to help bring this dystopian sci fi adventure to life! PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IF YOU GET A PART, I WILL NEED LINES & REDO LINES TURNED IN QUICKLY! This is for a class project, so the due date is around early-mid December. This project will not go past December 16th. This is also a project which I will sadly not be able to pay the actors as this is for my college project, my greatest apologies and I hope you can still have fun with the project.
Carter is a middle aged man with a semi-deep to deep, gruff, and serious voice. He can be quite sarcastic but is pretty blunt. Carter is worn by years of doing his raiding job, but is still excels in his work.
"How high up is the entry point?" (Very serious and intent as he awaits Tess's response)
"Please! Wait. I have a daughter. My daughter needs a new heart." (He's desperate and being somewhat choked as he's trapped by the enemy.)
(The enemy loosens his hold but Carter is still pleading) *gasp of air* "I've tried synthetic organs and the black market. Nothing worked. Please..."
"Shit, Shit, SHIT! Any update on that escape route, Tess?" (Yelled or loudly stated into his earpiece whilst he is shooting at beasts trying to keep them at bay)
Tess is a young spunky tech who helps Carter with his missions through his earpiece. In her little tech nook, she keeps track of blueprints, directions, hacking, and snarky remarks. Her voice I imagine to be mid range to maybe even "deep" for a young adult female, I'm interested in hearing just about anything though as long as it's not in the range of a high pitched brat voice.
"Ahh, good. Time to defile a tomb. Hold on, I'll get this door for you." (Tess is talking to Carter through an earpiece as she's hacking open a door for him. She speaks to him with quite a mischievous and spunky tone. )
"Carter, don't just stand there! RUN!" (Tess commands with an edge of fear.)
(In a more serious, somewhat rushed tone, Tess talks to Carter through his earpiece.) "The tomb is going into lockdown. I'll try to find a way through!"
"A clean $250,000. Oh yeah, nice work on that whole "for my daughter" business by the way. This was the easiest job we've done yet! And hey, I've already got our next job lined up, it's in Vegas~." (She's talking to Carter in person after the adventure has taken place, she's very sassy and peppy. I would suggest saying Vegas in a fun way, but you don't have to.)
The Dead Man is keeping himself alive for all eternity in his tomb with futuristic life support. His body is decayed and worn away, moved like a puppet with the wires he's hooked to, but his mind is still alive. I imagined his voice as intensely deep and menacing, however I'm open to other interpretations. I wanted him to have a terrifying and dark presence.
"You've gotten further than others, I'll grant you that." (He says this at Carter with intense seriousness. He says it possibly menacingly.)
"Oh, and why is that?" (He is questioning feigning curiosity but is quite serious and angry.)
"I think you've stayed in my home long enough." (said menacingly and with intense seriousness.)
