The Dead Man is keeping himself alive for all eternity in his tomb with futuristic life support. His body is decayed and worn away, moved like a puppet with the wires he's hooked to, but his mind is still alive. I imagined his voice as intensely deep and menacing, however I'm open to other interpretations. I wanted him to have a terrifying and dark presence.

  • "You've gotten further than others, I'll grant you that." (He says this at Carter with intense seriousness. He says it possibly menacingly.)

  • "Oh, and why is that?" (He is questioning feigning curiosity but is quite serious and angry.)

  • "I think you've stayed in my home long enough." (said menacingly and with intense seriousness.)
