Project Overview
"Coincidence" is a mystery drama set in the fictional town of Abyss, Maine in 1973. It focuses on Blair Reyes, a 13-year-old girl who moves to this secluded town after her mother lands a new job. Struggling with feelings of isolation and haunted by her father's mysterious disappearance, Blair grapples with her new life and identity. Her path crosses with Mallory Kirk, a kind-hearted and well-mannered girl of the same age, living next door. Despite their different personalities, the two go on a journey of mystery and carnage, as Blair's adventurous nature leads her to a chilling encounter in the forest.

[Talking to Detective Sadie] I just don't understand. Why are these things, these horrible, horrible things only happening to me? The disappearance of my dad a few years ago, my mom getting really sick, and now, being involved in, in a... in a murder case of all things. (takes a deep breath) What did I do to piss off life to this point? And it's not going to stop! My life is just going to get crazier and crazier, ma'am. (a moment of silence) I'm scared. I just want it to stop.
[Talking to the next-door neighbor's daughter, Mallory] Maybe being lost isn't about finding your way back, but about discovering who you really are along the way. I had to learn that the hard way.

[Talking to Detective Sadie] I never wanted to get involved in this, Sade. But the thought of a killer roaming the streets just gives me the creeps. I would like for this to be kept confidential. I don't to cause a panic, especially around my parents. With all that said, I still want to help out as much as possible so we can prevent more innocent from getting killed.
[Mallory sees Blair coming into her house unexpectedly. Mallory notices Blair holding back her tears.] (happy then sad) Oh, I didn't know you were coming over, Blair. You should have called me and let me know. I could have prepared us some... Blair? Blair, What's the matter? What happened? Don't cry.

[Sadie is looking for people who can give her information] Hi. I'm Detective Sadie Édèle. Sorry for the disturbance but I just want to ask you a few questions if you don't mind. It won't take long, I assure you. Have any strange occurrences been happening around your property lately? Especially during nighttime? [The person answers "Well, I've seen gnomes around my garden"] (fake laughter) I'll take that as a no.
[She's Mallory for the first time in 8 years in a ceremony] Oh my god! Is that you, Mallory? Holy, look how big you've got. The last time I saw you were around the same height as my thigh. You were much chubbier back then too. (laughs). [Sadie notices Blair next to her] Who's this? Is this your friend? Good for you. It's pretty hard to make friends in such a place. It's like purgatory don't you think?
Alba is a woman in her mid-40s, a single mother who has recently moved with her teenage daughter, Blair, to an isolated house in a rural town. She’s determined, pragmatic, and well-meaning but has a strained relationship with Blair, whose grief over her father’s absence creates a distance Alba doesn’t know how to bridge.

Mallory's mother. She is a extroverted woman with a accent. I will let the voice actor choose the accent, but preferably I would go with either Australian or British English
