Chica's Disco Rink
Project Overview
" Chica's Disco Rink! A place where space is the perfect place for any boy or girl to jam! "
CDR is a big passion project set in the FNaF universe where Fazbear entertainment took their most popular female character and made a place mainly meant for little girls but it's even popular with boys to Fazbear's surprise.
It follows the story of Olivia, a girl who feels unseen and neglected by her parents so she finds comfort in the animatronics at Chica's Disco Rink who she feels treats her more like family than anyone else ever has. She traps herself in the pizzeria though doesn't understand this comes with treat and major consequences down the road.
Voice Actor
Olivia is the main protagonist in the series and has the most voice appearances. She is a scared yet determined and curious child who trapped herself in her favorite pizzeria to be with animatronic characters she thinks loves her more than her own family.
I have no real idea on what I'd like her to sound like other than the obvious of her sounding like a child so go wild!
- female child
" I don't have a family. Not one who notices I'm gone so who cares? "
" AhH! Chickpea help me! I-I'm stuck! "
" What..oh god what did they do to you? W-Wait hey, leave me alone! We're friends why are you hurting me?! "
Voice Actor
Babella is a side character in the series and doesn't often make voice appearances. She tries to stay out of the others antics and is often called mom by some of the other animatronics due to her constant worry about their health and safety however she isn't fond of that nickname.
When she does I imagine her having a slight southern twang or you know 80s sounding if that makes sense. [ She can have a masculine or feminine voice ]
- american (southern)
- androgynous
" Welcome into the Star Tart Diner, whatever you're craving we have! What could I start you out with on this lovely evening? "
" Well what do my eyes perceive? Is that the Solar Boys? Oh stars are we being raided again?! My kitchen can't take another hit! "
" Did someone forget to feed the frog? I have to take care of everyone myself. "
Voice Actor
Rouge is a side character in the comic and doesn't often make voice appearances. She is a stylish and very stuck up pirate who moreso only cares if the treasure is shiny weather than actually valuable.
When she speaks I imagine her voice to be preppy, rich girl [ maybe even valley girl ] sounding and not at all what you'd expect from a pirate.
- american (valley girl)
- preppy
- female adult
" You can't raid the seas without style. That's the biggest crime any pirate commits. "
" Welcome abord the Styleskull, sit in a chair and I'll get to making you beautiful soon enough. "
" Ugh, don't ever mention that no good, one handed, sea slug around me again! "
Voice Actor
Kiwi is a minor character in the comic and doesn't often make voice appearances. She is a very hyper-active and dramatic frog who makes even the simplest of tasks as hard as can be. She is also the little sister of Gummy!
I imagine her voice to sound bubbly and very cheery.
- female adult
" Welcome to the Milky Way Swamp of Doom! Haha! Come in if you dare and face the galactic waters of despair. "
" AHH! YOU DID IT YOU MADE IT THROUGH! I am so PROUD of you! Here, here, come get your prize! "
" I miss my brother sometimes..but when he visits the place becomes ten times livelier. Even Chickpea herself is warming up to him! I think. "
Voice Actor
Freddi is a minor character in the comic and doesn't often make voice appearances. He is a little socially awkward however pushes himself to make conversation as he dislikes the quiet. With people he is comfortable with he is very outgoing and even loud sometimes.
I imagine his voice to be somewhat like Glamrock Freddy's but deeper. However if you have your own ideas I'd be more than happy to hear them!
- male adult
" Why hello there Space Gals! We do not mean any harm but..well..Captain was craving your pizza. "
" I like to think of myself as the leader, yes. I was unaware you had an issue with this. "
" What a delight! Rouge always knows what to do with my hair. It is almost like Magic. "
Voice Actor
Bonnibel is a minor character in the series and doesn't often make voice appearances. Despite his confident appearance he is shy and almost shy to converse with new people. However he is great with kids and finds them very easy to talk to, even more than his friends.
I have no voice in mind so you are free to do whatever you think will fit.
- androgynous
" Who me? I run the bowling alley at our location. Yeah Bonni's Bowling and Arcade! "
" I don't really tangle with anyone who isn't Freddi. No offence to the other two they just..have their own issues. "
" I may be the smallest but I'll tell you I took down Gummy in a fight and he's twice my size! "
Voice Actor
Captain is a minor character in the comic and has few voice appearances. He is very selfish and greedy, often taking anything he deems of value for himself. He's your typical pirate who is absolutely smitten for Babella and sees her as his ultimate treasure.
As long as he sounds like a pirate go wild!
- pirate
- male adult
" Come along me mateys! Treasure be this way! "
" We are here to plunder ye home and take thee gold. "
" What a pretty lass ye are..I think ye be my finest treasure yet! "
Voice Actor
Security Watch is the antagonist in the series and has many voice appearances. They are an ai so they don't have much personality.
The only request is that you have a voice changer that makes them sound distorted. PLEASE send one recording of the voicelines normal and another with a voice changer.
- androgynous
" You are unauthorized to be here after hours. Please return to the entrance while I dial the emergency help line. "
" This area is staff only. "
" I will take you home. Come here small child. "
Artist
When it comes to CDR it is my biggest passion project and with that I know I'll need some help drawing the scenes. My biggest lf is people who would be willing to color the chars [ which isnt a big deal for me to do myself so not my biggest worry ] and background artist! I have one so far but I do not want to push all the work onto them and I myself cannot draw a background to save my life so if you're good a backgrounds and are willing to help pleaassee contact me!!
*Say something you think would fit*
