About This Project:

Summary: 



This cartoon is about a guy in high school named, Charlie. Charlie and his friends are just starting high school and they don't know what to expect or what to do, but they will somehow make it through high school, hopefully.



So this is my first ever animation production that I have been working on for about a year now(because of school). This took me a long time to get done with story development and deciding on how I want characters to be, but I am now ready to head into actual production after I can find some voice actors that would love to help out with this project.

These voices will only be used for a pilot/animatic for right now, but if this project goes well. This may become a long term thing to do a full season for this series.

Requirements:
- Must have a good microphone. No one with bad microphone quality will not be allowed on this project. 
- Be open to record at times that we say. This could be a long term thing if the pilot goes well so we will need consistent voice acting. We can't have an actor drop when we are halfway through production.
- Must understand the character and role that they are auditioning for. In order to get the character, you have to be the character.

  • NEED NEW ACTORS FOR CASEY

    So we have found our voices for CJ and Charlie but, we need more actors for Casey so far a lot of the actors that auditioned are just not what we are quite looking for. So if you are a voice actor who still wants to part take in this animation. Please audition. :D

CJ is a smart kid who worries too much about things and his future. He is always so paranoid and worried about a lot of things. He is Charlie's Best friend. They have been friends ever since middle school. CJ always looks forward to going to school, he questions his friendship with Charlie sometimes and Charlie's Actions, but at the end of the day, they are good buds. Cj as a friend to Charlie is always trying to look out for him because well Charlie is always doing things that leave you wondering why. So CJ is just looking out for him as a friend. So you can imagine that Cj is always stressed out and so uptight about things.

Vocal Range: Mid to Low Range

  • (worried and angry at Charlie for being happy about high school)


    What are you so happy about?! This is high school, anything can happen in high school. You can get an F, then not going to college, and then that leads to working at a fast food restaurant, who is a loser, with no WIFE or Family or kids..!

  • (Worried and Panicked, Trying to drag Charlie out from hurting himself)

    Dude come on. We don't need to be like the people on TV. We can just be social outcasts and sit by the garbage during lunch. WE DON'T NEED THAT LIFE!

  • Well What if high school is just like middle school all over again? (Create your own line that CJ would say.)

Casey is a main side character who meets Charlie in a really weird way. They meet in the girl's bathroom and they find out that they both have issues. Casey is generally a chill person who is very athletic.

Her only friends in school are Charlie and CJ, well because her parents did something really embarrassing that leaves her with the whole school judging her as weird. So you can imagine that she is pretty mad a lot throughout her school day.

Vocal Range: High to Mid Range

  • Umm. Are you okay in there?

  • You think your day was bad! I had a lot of bad stuff happen today too.

  • I wanted to start this year off great, but my parents just had to ruin that for me. Again like they usually do. (Or you can make up your own line that Casey would say)

He is an optimistic, carefree, happy, quirky person. Charlie is always looking for the bright side of things. He is kind-hearted, and always generally excited about anything.  Charlie sees the world in this bright light where everything is always good and he just does whatever. When he talks sometimes he can be awkward and just well, Charlie.  

Voice Range: (Mid to Low Range) 

One thing that makes Charlie, Charlie. Is that he exaggerates a lot when he talks. He also doesnt think before he speaks.

  • (exaggerated)

    Duuude.  Duuuude, Duuuuuude. DUDE!

  • Dude, it's our first day of high school! [He pauses and looks at his friend] Come on, why you look so nervous? You should be pumped up! Excited! (Starts doing karate chops and punches)
