Penelios = Penelope (BUT A MALE)
Penelios is a devoted husband and steadfast ruler whose strength lies in patience rather than the sword. Left behind to guard home and child, he leads with quiet authority, enduring uncertainty and loneliness while holding onto unwavering hope for Odyssa’s return. Warm, emotionally grounded, and deeply loyal, Penelios represents love as endurance—the calm that survives the storm of war.
I don't believe Penelope speaks in any of the songs.
Choral Part: Tenor
- male adult
**SING 1:29-2:00 MINUTES IN THE SONG: SUFFERING**
**SING 0:15-0:55 MINUTES IN THE SONG: THE CHALLENGE**
Telemara is Odyssa and Penelios’ daughter—fierce-hearted, sharp-minded, and raised in the shadow of a legend. Though young, she carries quiet fire: a princess learning leadership through absence, longing, and resilience. Her voice should be a bright lyric soprano with emotional strength, capable of both innocence and rising determination. In ensemble moments, Telemara often leads or floats above the chorus with clear, hopeful lines—her choral parts symbolizing the future of Ithaca and the legacy Odyssa fights to protect.
CHORAL PART: SOPRANO 2 - SOPRANO 1
- female teen
(CONFUSED): "Father?"
**SING SOME OF LEGENDARY**
** SING SOME OF I CAN'T HELP BUT WONDER**
Athenos is the god of strategy, foresight, and calculated truth—the mind behind every winning move and every impossible choice. Coldly rational and relentlessly precise, he values outcomes over comfort and wisdom over mercy, pushing mortals toward decisions they will survive but never forget. Athenos guides rather than commands, offering knowledge like a blade: sharp, useful, and dangerous to hold. Vocally, his presence should be clear and cutting, often entering with controlled, deliberate lines that slice through the ensemble, signaling intellect, inevitability, and the quiet cruelty of logic.
Choral Part: Tenor 1 - Tenor 2
- male adult
**SING A PART OF WE'LL BE FINE**
**SING A PART OF GOD GAMES**
Polita is the heart of the crew—open, compassionate, and unshakably hopeful even in the aftermath of war. She believes people are worth saving, that kindness is not weakness, and that mercy can still exist in a world shaped by violence. Vocally, Polita carries a light lyric soprano sound that blends beautifully in harmony; her choral lines often rise gently above the ensemble, bringing warmth, unity, and emotional contrast to the darker voices around her.
Choral Part: Tenor
- female young adult
- female adult
**SING A PART OF OPEN ARMS**
Eurylia is the voice of caution and survival—the crew member who asks the hard questions no one else wants to face. Practical, guarded, and deeply loyal, she challenges Odyssa not out of defiance but out of fear of losing what little remains. Euryla believes leadership means making the least disastrous choice, not the most heroic one. Vocally, she anchors the ensemble with a low, grounded sound; her choral parts sit beneath the harmonies, steady and insistent, reinforcing tension and doubt while giving weight to moments of conflict.
Choral Part: Alto 1 - Alto 2
- female adult
**SING SOME OF LUCK RUNS OUT**
**SING SOME OF PUPPETEER**
Zeya is the embodiment of divine authority—commanding, immense, and utterly unyielding. She does not argue; she declares. Every word carries the weight of fate, and her presence alone shifts the air in the room. Zeya believes in order above mercy and power above hesitation, viewing mortals as pieces in a greater design. Vocally, she should have a powerful mezzo or alto belt with thunderous resonance; in choral moments, her lines cut sharply through the ensemble, often entering above or against the harmony to dominate the sound and remind everyone who truly holds control.
Choral Part: Alto 1 - Soprano 2
- female adult
**SING A PART OF THUNDER BRINGER**
Poseida is the wrath of the sea made flesh—ancient, patient, and terrifyingly personal. She does not strike out of chaos, but out of wounded pride and broken vows. Where others roar, Poseida pulls you under slowly, letting fear settle before the storm hits. Vocally, she carries a deep contralto sound with smooth, relentless power; in choral sections, her lines often sit low and sustained beneath the ensemble, creating a rolling, ominous undertow that signals danger long before it arrives.
Choral Part: Alto 1 - Alto 2
- female adult
**SING PART OF RUTHLESSNESS**
**SING PART OF GET IN THE WATER**
Ensemble / Extras represent the living world of the story—the soldiers, citizens, and voices caught between gods and heroes. They shift fluidly between roles, becoming crew members, Trojans, shadows of the past, and echoes of fate. Vocally, the ensemble is essential: their choral sections build tension, amplify emotion, and carry the weight of war, fear, hope, and prophecy. Movement and unified presence are as important as sound; together, they form the heartbeat of the show and the force that makes every choice feel unavoidable.
