Project Overview

Introduction

Hello everyone this casting call was made for the project Chai Cat Cafe. This project is slightly based after the anime Isekai Shokudou (Restaurant to Another World). 


This casting call is to find voice actors, body actors, Directors and more!


Role Info


  • Voice Actors are required to turn in lines on time for any due dates.

  • Body Actors are required to attend most recording sessions for recordings to be effective.

  • Directors there will be 2 types of Directors in this role-play. One is the VA Director and the other will be the BA Director. The Voice Acting Director will help out with Voice actors lines. The Body Acting Director will need to know the best options and places for body actors to move in as well as enough experience to direct the camera.

  • Camera Crew, The camera crew are the ones recording the scene with mods like replay mod.

  • Skin Maker This project needs at least 4 Skin makers both HD and non HD. All skins must be turned in on time on the due dates. 

  • Artists We need an artist willing to draw the main characters of this series

  • Writers This project is in need of writers who want to help tell our story.

  • Video Editor you must have experience editing videos of this type.


Summary


There’s a cafe that many people would call magical. This cafe appears only at night and has a beautiful presence as if someone is welcoming you inside for a big warm hug. When you enter the cafe there’s fairy lights and waiters and waitresses with a variety of different features, like cat ears and tails. They all give off this calm expression and welcome you with happy faces and glances. Some say that this is just a fairy tale made up by the neighborhood kids. No human adult has ever seen the inside of the mythical cafe until one day that changes. A young adult girl see’s the cafe one night after a long day at work. She’s worn out for the day and decides the cafe seems like a nice place to grab a quick bite before heading home. When she enters the cafe she stands there shocked at what she sees but quickly she regains control of her mind and thinks “oh maybe they are just cosplaying?” She makes her way up to the counter and orders a latte. She sits down at a nearby table and waves to a waiter then asks “ what’s the name of this cafe?” The waiter is surprised by this, but says “Chai Cat Cafe” This is where her story starts. The next time she comes back will be when her adventure between worlds starts.


Dead Lines


The deadline for this project is April 2021 as of this moment. As for The auditions deadline it will be October 31st 2020. Callback Auditions have been extended from November 10th to November 21st. (Deadline for finding Builders is November 24th.)

Audition Rules

  • Please have a good quality working microphone (For Va’s and Directors)

  • If auditioning for a body actor position please have the Java edition of Minecraft

  • You must have a discord account to audition for any role.

  • For every voice acting role you must be at least 15 years old or older (some exceptions will be made.)

  • Please only audition if you have the time to be in this project.
