CEDA Series: Remembrance

CEDA Series: Remembrance

Project Overview

Hey there!

I'm currently working on Remembrance, an upcoming entry in my independent CEDA Series, a Source Filmmaker/analog horror series set in the world of Left 4 Dead.

This entry will officially introduce the Left 4 Dead 1 survivors into the series while expanding the conflict between CEDA and WAGE. The episode takes place across both 2009 and the modern day timeline, with scenes involving the survivors, WAGE personnel, and a CEDA agent.

I'm currently looking for a few voice actors for several original characters. The roles range from military/briefing style performances to more serious and emotional dialogue.

This is a volunteer/unpaid project. I'm an solo creator working on this series in my free time and unfortunately don't have the budget to pay voice actors.

If you're interested in contributing to the project and having your voice featured in the series, I'd love to hear from you!

No professional experience is required I'm mainly looking for people who can deliver natural, believable performances.

WAGE Briefing Officer

WAGE Briefing Officer

This character delivers an internal WAGE briefing regarding the capture and interrogation of the Left 4 Dead survivors.

He's essentially a soldier/reporting officer reading information into a formal briefing. He should sound professional, somewhat nervous or inexperienced, but not overly dramatic.

As the briefing progresses, he becomes increasingly uncomfortable discussing the survivors, particularly Zoey.

(Tone: Professional, matter-of-fact, and slightly uneasy. He should sound like he's just doing his job, with no evil malice behind it.)

  • "As most questionings seem to go, they refused to give us any information at all. Although one of them was hard headed enough to give out all of their names."

  • "Okay.. uh, so from what we have gathered, so far at least, is that these carriers were traveling north bound on I-95."

CEDA Agent

This character enters the scene while a WAGE soldier is threatening Francis.

Unlike the WAGE soldier, the CEDA agent is calm, authoritative, and intimidating without needing to raise his voice.

He's essentially someone who has enough authority to walk into a WAGE facility and immediately challenge their behavior.

The character should feel like someone who is used to being listened to.

(Tone: calm, authoritative, professional, intimidating, controlled)

Voice description:

  • "What the hell do you think you’re doing?"

  • "And depending on how things go, maybe then you WAGE heads can do one of the few things your people are good at. Besides, you know, getting your own men killed."

WAGE Soldier

This character is guarding the Left 4 Dead survivors while they're being detained.

He's much more aggressive and confrontational than the briefing officer. He's irritated by Francis constantly antagonizing him and clearly doesn't have much patience for the prisoners.

He should sound like a real pissed off soldier, not a stereotypical villain.

(Tone: Irritated, Aggressive, Confrontational, Sarcastic, short tempered)

Voice description:
  • male adult
  • "Keeping the carriers in check? What else do you think?"

  • "Haha, yeah very funny. If it was up to me, I would blast that ugly face of yours smooth off. You here?!"

Zoey's Father
Voice Actor Voice Actor
Zoey's Father

This role is much smaller and more emotional.

The character appears through echoing/fragmented memories during Zoey's flashbacks to the events surrounding her father's death.

The character should sound in pain, but still trying to remain calm for the sake of his daughter.

(Tone: emotional, warm, fatherly)

Voice description:
  • male adult
  • "Remember those zombie movies I used to sneak you into when you were a kid, Zoey?"

  • "You remember the part where in all of 'em when they had to shoot the one guy before he turned?"

  • "Never forget, I love you, Zoey."
