Project Overview
Castle Swimmer is a Webtoon created by Wendycomics.
What happens when your entire life is ruled by a prophecy – your future foretold by people you’ve never met, who died long before you were born. Such is the story of two young sea creatures. One believed to be a guiding light for his people, a Beacon who will lead them to a bright, prosperous future. The other is a teenage prince for who’s destiny is to KILL the Beacon so that HIS own people might thrive. When both reject the course set for them, it leads to a raucous adventure as big and unpredictable as the ocean itself – and a romance that nobody could have predicted.

The God of the Surface, Creator of the seas and all life within them. He created Kappa and gave him the destiny of being the Beacon.
Voice: Calm, Serene, Fatherly

"There are many prophecies in this world, you will have a role to play in each one" (Gentle, omnipotent)
Nee is the ruler the Castle Colonies and who united the several Mer tribes together in harmony. She is a trans woman who overcame much hardship to obtain her status and position.
Voice: Eccentric, Over the Top, Extra
"Now Now, Let's do our best to avoid any fighting" (Trying to call everyone down)
"You all came up with such Beautiful Plans But I think we need something with a bit more substance" (trying to sound inoffensive)
"This is a trap...a very specific, nonsensical trap!" (Shock, Panic, over the top)
Queen of the Lopods. Like the other Tribes, she wishes to find the Beacon to fulfill the prophecy of her people.
Voice: cheerful, kind, somewhat jolly. Preferred Person of Colour (POC) actor
"I hope you don't plan on keeping the Beacon all to yourself, Queen Nee" (Friendly but assertive)
"I thought You would have a bigger tail but you're just as stunning as the legends say! its Amazing!" (in awe, Excited upon meeting Kappa)
"You're always good at getting people on your side, Queen Nee" (pleasant admiration)
Queen of the Shark Mers and Mother of Siren. Susca feels the suffering of her people from the curse that has afflicted them for centuries. She is a strong ruler only wanting the best for her people and her son.
Voice: Motherly but strict, Queenly, stoic, subtle
"Prince Siren, of the Castle of Sharks... You must Kill the Beacon" (addressing to her son)
"Its ok if you are having doubts, even if you don't think you can do it... Just talk to me and we'll figure something out" (Comforting, Gentle, motherly)
"I never should have let you enter this castle" (seething anger)
Elder of the Shark Mer people. She is wise and often knows more than she lets on. She greatly cares about Siren's success and is greatly loyal to Queen Susca.
Voice: Crotchety, Croaky, Old Crone - like, kindly, grandmotherly
"Yes! I can feel the way the bubbles move! its a sign of the Beacon's arrival!" (Declarative, Mystical)
"Poor thing, he must be desperate" (awkwardly)
"She's good at keeping a straight face. It's hard to tell that all the stress over these years is getting to her"
Seko is a guardsman in the Shark Castle. He takes his duties seriously and eagerly awaits the death of the Beacon that will lift the curse on the Shark Mer. He loves to playfully tease Skiff.
Voice: tenor, slight depth, Anime Protag, slight gruffness
"Lets get moving your highness" (Calming but tense)
"Skiff here is a big fan of yours prince" (Playfully Smug)
"I'm not going to hurt anyone. I'm just going to bring you back inside so we can get this sorted out" (serious, soldier-like)
Skiff is a young guard completing his training. He is a fierce fighter but a gentle, if somewhat timid, soul. He has been friends with Siren since they were children and greatly admires the prince.
Voice: Shy, Softspoken, can still be assertive and serious, gentle and kind hearted
"Why would you speak my darkest secrets right in front of him?" (Embarrassed, Bashful, Sheepishly)
"Nonsense! We just need to train you up a bit. I'll Teach you how to hunt and fight" (Assuring, Kind, Happy)
"It may sound silly, but you brought me happiness at a time when I had nothing else" (somewhat sad, softspoken, shy)
We require a video editor for this project as well. we will consider multiple applicants to compose a small team.
Requirements:
-experience in video editing software
-commitment to the project
-able to compile the visual and audio parts together along with transitions, sound effects, music etc.
-time management skills
