Project Overview
Welcome to the Carnival of Carnage! This is ambitious project - it starts out as a partially voiced roleplay and aims to be a completed story that will be translated into a fully voice acted visual novel. It's heavily inspired by Danganronpa - it's a spiritual successor of sorts. I have a few contributing artists, 2 software and general problem engineers, 2 musicians, and half a dozen interested voice actors so far, and I haven’t even opened it up to the public yet.
16 teenagers, attending a talent carnival in 2019 wake up after blacking out to realize that the world that they know has been transformed into something horrifying, and what's worse... they can't escape.
Forced to kill each other to gain temporary immunity in a killing game hosted by a robotic monkey called Monosaru, only 5 survivors will remain by the end of the game… some of whom may be murderers living amongst the innocent. See more on https://discord.gg/kstn4D6ecV

Bio -Actually quite a nice guy, just unfortunately very creepy. Speaks in a very lofty way, but doesn't have a Romanian accent (can be included optionally) like his parents, as he was raised in the states. Enjoys being tailored, trying on new clothes,, and most importantly, writing Shakespearean tragedies. Sometimes makes out of pocket comments about life and death and the fragility of life due to having lost so many relatives to cancer, but doesn't realize this comes off as him plotting something heinous.

Bio - Served in over 1,000 tutoring locations and tutored 10,000 children from age 10 in locations that are primarily lower class. Cares deeply for children and preserving the wellbeing of society. Staunchly anti-capitalist, and often tries to rally the carnival guests together into a "Socialist Club". Disillusioned with society and believes that no one truly cares about the welfare of raising the next generation, only elevating the economic status of the generation in power. Skylar believes that people benefit from not speaking against evils that they see in society, and aims to correct this.
“Hey, nice to meetcha. Skylar’s the name. I tutor kids in low income areas and have served in over 1,000 different locations, all for the children. Do you wanna sign this form here? Don’t worry about it, it’s just a letter to our local governor.” (matter-of-fact)
“You… you want to join my Socialist Club? O-oh, you just wanted to be friends. Well, a mandatory requirement is that you join, s-so just sign here and-! Shit! I dropped it! Sorry!” (awkward)

Vidalia "V" Jacobsen is a 20 year old girl with a medium tone voice. She is a little person (medically: has dwarfism) and struggles to be recognized in her field when her sessions are done in person. Since becoming 18 she has solved 500 different marital crises in her time as a counselor, though her appointments have been mostly over zoom, where clients can only see her shoulders and her face due to negative reactions from clientelle. She enjoys home cooked meals, a nice warm bed, and most importantly, a happy little home to end the day in.
"Hello... I'm Vidalia, like the onion. .... But you can just call me V. ... Sorry, I thought we were done talking. Did you need something?" (distracted)
"Friendship is a lot like a marriage. I mean, not to imply... Whatever. It's a promise. A promise to do better and be better for the person who care about. It's the same principle, really. I like to break things down into simple terms for each and everyone of my clients, and the same goes for my new friends: I promise to take good care of you." (amicable)
"You don't understand! None of you could understand! Nobody every takes me seriously! I stand up, and they think "who's this kid playing matchmaker" or "poor thing, I could just squeeze her and take care of her" or even "why does she look like that"! I need this World Record more than anybody! I need people to recognize WHO I AM!" (killer breakdown)
