Buddiez
Project Overview
Buddiez is an ongoing independent animated web series with over 13,000 subscribers on YouTube. The series follows best friends Josh and Junior as their drawings, characters, and creations begin coming to life, pulling them into increasingly chaotic adventures.
Blending comedy, action, character drama, and emotional storytelling, Buddiez focuses heavily on friendship, creativity, growing up, and the consequences of bringing your imagination into the real world. The series features a colorful cast of original characters, energetic animation, and an interconnected story that has developed across multiple episodes.
After more than a year of releases, Buddiez is now approaching the end of its current story, with its final few episodes currently in production and on the way. We’re looking for voice actors to help bring several characters to life as the series heads into its biggest and most important episodes yet.
A once fun-loving, energetic, and highly animated character whose personality has completely unraveled after his understanding of reality is shattered. There are still traces of the lively, expressive person he used to be, but they’ve become twisted into something unstable, unpredictable, and intensely angry.
For the voice, we’re looking for someone who can shift between charismatic and playful to frantic, volatile, and furious. His speech can feel emotionally unstable, with sudden changes in volume, pacing, and tone—as if he’s constantly struggling to keep himself together. His anger should feel genuine and overwhelming rather than like a stereotypical villain voice.
The role requires strong emotional range, especially the ability to portray someone who sounds like he’s mentally unraveling while still occasionally letting pieces of his former personality slip through.

That studio was my world. Everyone had a place. Then I watched it all fade. Sets disappeared, the stories vanished, the people I loved were gone. And somewhere beyond our world, one person decided we were no longer worth remembering.
Hey! I saw you were scared, so I came to help! You okay?
Am I worthy of forgiveness?
loud, expressive, fast-paced, and extremely enthusiastic, like a cartoon game-show host who treats everything as the biggest event ever. He should be able to switch between excited announcer mode, goofy casual moments, and occasional quieter, mysterious moments. The main goal is to make him feel like a chaotic entertainer who genuinely loves putting on a show.

Ah yes, a truly American way to settle disputes! Pick your teams, and get your rally caps, cause WE’RE PLAYIN’ BASEBALL!!
Beautiful day for some baseball, folks! Here we have two teams duking it out for a shiny rock!!
Well, well, well! Look who it is! Long time no see Joshie-boy! AH yes! The macro-verse!
A mysterious, all-knowing presence with a calm, powerful, almost otherworldly voice. It should sound ancient and authoritative, but not evil or threatening. The Voice speaks slowly and deliberately, as though every sentence carries enormous meaning. There’s a slight warmth underneath the mysterious tone.

Your world began in the imagination of a child.
But your existence does not have to end because his story did.
A younger, more innocent version of the shows' main protagonist Josh. His voice should be youthful, expressive, slightly soft, and naturally energetic, but with a noticeable sensitive side. He can go from quietly discouraged to laughing and joking pretty quickly. The performance should feel genuine and childlike rather than overly “cartoon baby.” Think a creative kid who’s a little shy when his confidence gets knocked down, but becomes goofy and lively around his best friend.

She's right...These drawings are stupid. It's not like anybody looks at them.
Yeah, right! Like that'd ever happen.
Thank you for being my friend, Junior.
A younger version of Junior who is already confident, outspoken, playful, and supportive. His voice should be youthful but have a little more attitude and boldness than Josh’s. Junior isn’t afraid to talk back or make a sarcastic comment, but underneath that is a kid who genuinely cares about his best friend. The actor should balance comedic timing, confidence, and warmth, especially when Junior encourages Josh and insists that they keep drawing despite being put down. In the flashback, he’s the one who reassures Josh that their characters could someday become known around the world.

Hey. That lady doesn't know what she's talking about. She's just mean.
“Vote my dad for mayor”? Their presentation's about dinosaurs!
I dunno. I thought it looked cooler. Besides, we did everything else right.
