Hi there, we're making a videogame parody about an upcoming game based on Vampires and Vampire Hunters. The game features a Blade-like character that we're hoping to bring to life.
The project pays $3 per line, with a guaranteed $50 minimum. (So if it ends up being only 10 lines, you're still paid 50. If it ends up being 30 lines, you're paid 90.) The final line count will be determined later this week.
After casting, we'll needs lines delivered no later than Monday 3/11, 9am CST. We're working with the game devs on this, so script feedback may end up changing your lines. Any additional/altered lines due to script changes will be paid at the original rate and we ask our VAs to be as timely as possible with redeliveries. Different reads based only on performance feedback is part of the original pay rate.
Please only audition if you have a good quality mic and home studio. Recording with substandard sound is a waste of your time and ours.
UPDATE: I was previously under the impression that the game was without voice acting. Turns out, this character has a voice already. So we will now be attempting to find a voice match. If you've already auditioned, thank you, please feel free to audition with this voice style in mind.

Saber is a Blade-like Vampire hunter. He's cool, calm and collected - with a dry wit. He can effortlessly deliver a bone-chilling monologue as well as a perfectly timed joke. Only POC candidates will be considered.
