INTRODUCTION:
Years in the making, my group of friends and I at The TTV Channel (https://www.youtube.com/@TheTTVChannel) are ready to bring our next project to life. It's a 10-episode series that re-imagines one of the story years of the popular LEGO BIONICLE series.
In this series, we cover the story year of 2002 - the Bohrok invasion. Six heroes wielding elemental powers must come together to stop the Bohrok swarms from destroying their island home. This series is comedic in nature, blending references to LEGO and BIONICLE with those from pop culture and video game franchises from the past decade.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We're casting for several roles that impact the story in various different ways, including Gali (a main character and part of the main six heroes), Onepu (a supporting character that appears in several episodes), the Bahrag Queens (Cahdok and Gahdok, who are the main antagonists), and Kumo (another supporting character that appears in a handful of scenes).
All of these roles are in the English language. While we do have additional roles to fill, these are our most important ones and we wouldn't expect anyone to voice any characters that they don't wish to. The point of this project is to have fun and to create something to share with other fans of this iconic LEGO theme!
DEADLINE:
Our deadline is August 5th, 2025 at 12:00 AM (midnight) Central Time in the United States. All 10 scripts are ready to be voiced, and we're eager to get the project underway, so we won't be extending this deadline.
AUDITIONS AND RECORDINGS:
What we're keeping an ear out for:
We'd love it if you have fun with these recordings. We've made projects like this before, and the important goal is always to enjoy it. If it isn't fun, it isn't worth doing. Feel free to try different voices, just follow an ABCABC format (Reading three lines in one voice = ABC, follow by another three lines in another voice = ABC). Feel free to be creative!
Please submit clean audio recordings. Try to reduce background noise (such as fans, AC units, traffic from open windows, echos, and so on). If it's something that you can't adjust right now but still want to audition, we'll still hear you out, just send us a message and let us know!
We don't expect anyone to do any significant post-processing on their audio (noise reduction, effects, etc). If you do, please advise us.
Give us your best takes! 2-3 for each line would be most appreciated. There is no need to keep in ones you aren't confident in. If there is a blooper you find funny enough, feel free to leave it!
We handle script recordings on an individual basis, with the project director and script-writer directing the voice actor over a Discord call. This allows for the most creative participation for the characters while also keeping the lines tonally consistent with the rest of the other actors.
CONCLUSION:
That about covers it! Please feel free to reach out with any questions, and check out some of the videos on the YouTube channel to get a better idea of what projects we've done before.
Thank you so much for your consideration, have fun, and take care!
