Binding Dreams
Project Overview
The story is about a boy named Yuri. When he was younger he had always been ill, and sadly he was not getting better. Some mysterious miracle healed him, one night, and left him with a symbol on his shoulder. As time passed, there was a prophecy where Yuri had to find this girl, Yanaliese, he doesn't know why, or even how to find her. He just knows it's what he is meant to do. If he doesn’t, she will die and her kingdom will fall and the land surrounding her kingdom will perish.
The princess is given a special ability when she was just a little girl. When she found (Something) and that creature gave her the ability of speaking to some animals, and some sort of healing abilities because she had the purest heart. Sometimes in her sleep she gets visions as well. Some come true and some do not. The boy has a dream where the “princess” is calling out for help, but it’s just her voice he doesn’t actually see her physical form/face. Backstory: Kiko is a special kind of creature, they came from a star planet and she was sent to earth to protect and serve under Yanaliese. She doesn’t remember much of her home planet but as she grows she learns more. She is very intelligent and is older on her planet than what we call on our planet (earth). So on earth she is considered a “child” mainly because of her small form.

Backstory: Yuri was born in the village of Varaka. His mother, Gemma, was having an affair with the king of Varaka. When he found out she was pregnant with Yuri, the king refused to take responsibility and help raise him. She was casted out of the castle, and so she luckily found shelter from an old friend named Isaac. Isaac and Gemma grew feelings for one another and raised Yuri together.

Backstory: Roman lived in Okana his whole life. He worked in the kitchen with the rest of his family. He enjoyed his life staying there and helping feed everyone in the castle. His father, Nikolas and mother, Cecilia both worked for the king and were great friends with everyone. His little sister, Claire, was also the princess’ friend. When the castle was under attack, Claire and Roman both escaped together alive.

Backstory: Claire’s family was friends with the king and queen of Okana, where they lived. Her family were the cooks of the castle and growing up Claire decided to take a different path, she was Yanaliese’s handmaid, also her friend. When the castle was under attack Claire and Roman, her brother, both escaped together alive.

Personality: She’s a sweet lady, she tries to help those in need. She loves children and helping out her neighbors. She loves the farm life and hates leaving home. Gemma has a son Uri who which is the son of the King of Varaka. She was thrown out by the king and left alone to raise her son. She thankfully found a friend, Isaac, to help her out. She falls in love with Isaac and they raise Uri together.

Personality: She is kind, loving, and one of the best Queen’s you could ever ask for. She’s an amazing mother and wife. Most of all she loves her staff and people. She tries her best to stay out of war and never wants to use violence for anything.
Flaws: Stubborn, Realistic, etc
Backstory: Annora is the Queen of Okana, Married to Elric. She has a daughter named Yanaliese. She is proud of her daughter and knows about her special gift. She basically raised Yana by herself while the king would be away on ships doing his work. She sadly couldn’t conceive anymore kids after almost dying having Yana.

Backstory: Isaac is a great guy, he is raising a son that isn’t his. He is in a relationship with Gemma. They own a store together and have amazing neighbors. He dislikes the royals for what they did to Gemma, even though she is also to blame.

Personality: Elric is a kind, honest man. He loves his family and hates to see anything bad happen to them. His kingdom means so much to him and war is the last thing he’s wanted. He is sad that they can’t have another child, but he understands.
Flaws: Stubborn, Realistic, Overconfident, Blunt, Bold
Backstory: Elric is the King of Okana, and is Married to Annora. His child is named Yanaliese, and sadly can’t have any more children. Elric has always been an amazing king. He usually goes on a lot of trips to see other royals and make deals. He sadly had to make a big decision and is trying to marry off his daughter to help their financial needs for the kingdom.
