Project Overview
Welcoming!
Hello, and welcome to BWC (Best Wishes Chorus)! This project’s purpose is to cover as many songs to describe our fellow dexholders journeys and feelings!
Communication
We will be communicating with each other on Discord, so please make sure you have a discord once you get casted in and that everything needs to be turned on time! Vocals, mixing, animating, etc. Just make sure to contact me if you are unable to meet up with the deadline!
Role Information
Here are some information when auditioning for the project!
Vocalists/Voice Actors: While recording, please make sure you don’t have much background noise or any popping noises, It’ll be an easier time for the sound editors/mixers when it comes to editing and mixing. It is required that you are able to use a mic as well, nothing too expensive, just so we are able to hear your voice clearly!
Sound Editors/Mixers: As long as you guys are able to clear away background noises, mouth sounds, and static, you’re all good! Just show me your editing/mixing skills!
Animators: Depending on the theme for the song, just make sure it’s pretty simple, show who’s singing, and nice background! If you wish to go all out, you can! The more the better! I don’t want to overwhelm you guys with too much work. (Especially whole group song since it consists of 22 people.)
Artists: We are looking for people who can sketch, lineart and colour. Please show an example of your work and let us know your usual time-span in drawing!
Managers: Please give us some projects you managed in and some testimonials as well! It will be difficult for two people to manage this whole thing together so we want to even out the work as we go!
Debut
We will be at least releasing 1-2 songs per month! Our first song will be the Pokemon Theme song for the whole cast, then we will going down by teams and regions.

We will place the list down on the teams we have came up with and where each Dexholder will be placed..
As for the Regions, depending on which one you are in, there will be quartet/trio/duet songs for you guys to sing together to describe dexholder’s journeys or feelings towards one another!

You can audition for as many roles as you like! It is highly preferred!
When it comes to VA, try to bring the character you are auditioning for to real life, as for singing, please use your own voice. Do not strain yourself into sounding so much like the character when it comes to singing.

Red is very much the quintessential hero; brave, kind, and outgoing. He is capable of feats of agility, and is always willing to help others, with or without the help of his Pokémon.
Red is an exceptional Pokémon battler, able to utilize his Pokémon's moves and natural talents in unique ways. Red's special skill, as described by Professor Oak, is Pokémon battling, earning the title of the "Fighter" (戦う者 Fighter).
Red is sometimes slow to pick up on sensitive matters

Forest Dragon Slayer
Green has a serious, calm, and focused personality in everything he does. Although Red and Green were once bothered by each other because their personalities are so opposite, they ended up resolving their differences.
Green and his Scyther were trained by Chuck of Cianwood City when he was a child. Thus, Green has some cursory knowledge of martial arts, and his Scyther knew Generation II techniques.
Green's special skill, as described by Professor Oak, is Pokémon training—that is, leveling them up and making them strong, and as such is referred to as the "Trainer" (Japanese: 育てる者 Trainer).
Green also has a rivalry with Koga of Team Rocket. This began when Green almost killed Koga's Arbok by having his Charmeleoncut it in two, and continued on throughout the series until Koga's reclusion.

As a young child, she was kidnapped by Ho-Oh and raised by the evil Masked Man, where she met and became close with Silver. This kidnapping led to her ornithophobia, which she manages to cure herself of in the Gold, Silver & Crystal chapter. The two of them managed to escape and began plotting against the Masked Man to take him down for good.
Green is quite cunning and quick-witted. She can talk others into believing a bold-faced lie and talk her way out of many tight situations. At one point, she convinces Red to buy a bunch of useless items for his Pikachu. Green is also a master of disguise, she uses her Ditto, Ditty as a mask and is able to make herself look like anyone she wants.
Green’s special skill, as described by Professor Oak, is the knowledge of Pokémon Evolution, a skill she learned from her time as a Masked Child. For these skills, she is known as the "Evolver" (化える者 Evolver).

Gold

Gold grew up in a home full of baby Pokémon. His neighbors in New Bark Town refer to his family as the "Poké House". He usually wears a pair of goggles and travels on a scooter. Instead of throwing/kicking his Poké Balls, he uses a billiard cue to shoot them out, allowing for tactical maneuvers and deployments of his Pokémon. Gold's hobbies include gambling, skateboarding, and trying foods from different cities. His favorite idol/DJ is DJ Mary from the Goldenrod Radio Station.
Professor Oak noted that while Red had some odd habits, Gold is much more immature and mischievous. He likes playing billiards, but sometimes he may use his Pokémon to cheat. Gold's mother has described him as "careless". Gold also tends to lie or exaggerate at times, in a bid to make himself seem more impressive, and other people around him notice it. He also seems to exhibit a one-track mind at times, being an ardent fan of pretty girls like DJ Mary, Jasmine and the Kimono Girls, but failing to recognize Morty or the Johto Elite Four.
Despite his negative traits, Gold is also noted for his moments of ingenuity, formulating plans and executing them spontaneously while appearing to slack off. Ultimately, Gold cares extremely for those around him and won't hesitate to sacrifice everything for their sake.
Gold's special skill, as described by Professor Oak, is Pokémon hatching and is known as the "Hatcher" (孵す者 Hatcher), known as Breeder in Chuang Yi's translations. He has the ability to draw out the largest potential of a baby Pokémon, having lived with Pokémon his whole life. Togebo and Pibu are testaments to that title.

As a child, Silver was kidnapped by the Masked Man along with several other children. There, he met and befriended a young girl named Green. After spending several years being trained by the Masked Man, Green led an operation for her and Silver to escape the Masked Man when his guard was down. After successfully managing to run away, the two began to work together to put an end to the Masked Man's ambitions.
Silver's special skill, as described by Professor Oak, is Pokémon trading (taught to him when he was with the Masked Man), and he is known as the "Exchanger" (換える者 Exchanger).

Ruby

Ruby has a great passion for Pokémon Contests. While he's an excellent battler, he only fights when necessary or when no one takes notice. He believes that Pokémon battles are barbaric, and get his Pokémon dirty — something that he does not like.
Ruby is skilled at sewing and knitting. He makes clothes for all his Pokémon to wear, and even made Sapphire the clothes she wears for much of her adventures. He is nearsighted, and he has a pair of glasses to correct this, though he was originally too vain when it came to wearing them often. His other hobby is photography. He has a photo album of all of his Pokémon's biggest moments — such as evolutions or Pokémon Contest victories.
Ruby can be quite shallow at times, putting too much emphasis on outward appearances. After going through character development, he managed to learn that appearances aren't the only thing that makes one beautiful. For his skills, he is given the title of "Charmer" (魅せる者 Charmer).
Besides necessities, Ruby also has a "Makeup Box" and "Sewing Box" in his backpack, for his Contest appearances. Ruby has a pair of Running Shoes made by the Devon Corporation which he received from his father for his eleventh birthday. They are extremely powerful and useful, and propel Ruby along the ground with bursts of compressed air.

Emerald is a Pokémon Trainer of unknown origins. Due to the loss of his parents at a young age, he was moved between his family members and was constantly bullied by his cousins due to his short height and tendency to rely on the help of Pokémon to get objects from high places. These events led to Emerald developing a complex about his height and a dislike of Pokémon. To get over his height issues, he used hair gel to style his hair upwards and wore various gadgets and clothing to make himself look taller than he actually is. He stops wearing these gadgets as well as his upwards hairstyle in the Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire chapter.
The constant moving from family member to family member led to Emerald developing the ability to determine a Pokémon's birthplace. If a Pokémon goes on a rampage, Emerald can calm it by surrounding the Pokémon with a "seal" of soil from its birthplace. The Pokémon is then calmed by a sense of nostalgia. For his skills, he is given the title of "Calmer" (鎮める者 Calmer).
Emerald claims to not like Pokémon themselves, but he likes Pokémon battles. To the amazement of the reporter, he is an expert at battling. As he does not train his own Pokémon, he borrows the Pokémon he uses from Crystal. Despite these claims, he is very close to Latios and Latias, who call him "Em".

Diamond

Diamond is the stooge (boke) of the comedy duo, with his childhood friend Pearlplaying the straight man. Despite appearing seemingly dopey and slow-witted when performing his role, he is actually very perceptive. His appearance is based on the male player character of Diamond and Pearl, Lucas. His name is often shortened to Dia, but is also called by his full name, Diamond, by Pearl when the latter is unusually serious.
Diamond is often apathetic and rarely not seen eating - even in dire situations, as was the case when he had a feast with his Pokémon while aboard a Team Galactic airship that was headed straight to their HQ. He shares these traits with his Pokémon, especially so with his Munchlax. While not fat, he is much less active and energetic when compared to Pearl or Platinum, as seen when Platinum mused that every morning since the trio began traveling together, Diamond would perpetually end up being the last to get up. However, he is always serious when it comes to food and is an expert at cooking Poffins. He also displays an ability to analyze the situation at hand - when something strikes him as illogical, he will attempt to make sense out of it. Diamond has a somewhat natural instinct to judge how a Pokémon feels and can be quite observant when something arouses his interest. He is driven by emotion, thus his association with Mesprit. For his skills, he is given the title of "Empathizer" (感じる者Empathizer).
Diamond has a large amount of respect for Pearl and despite the latter's tendency to berate him aggressively, the two are as close as brothers. Diamond also has a not-so-small crush on Platinum, which he developed when they first met.
Diamond has changed a lot from the beginning of his journey with Pearl and Platinum. He was convinced by Pearl after the incident at Veilstone City to set aside their dream of becoming great comedians to protect Platinum until she finishes her journey. On Iron Island, he also received training from Riley in order to further his battling skills, which were lacking when compared to Pearl's and Platinum's.

Pearl is impatient and is often accidentally getting himself and his friend, Diamond into trouble. He is the straight man (tsukkomi) of the comedy duo, while Diamond is the funny man. His appearance is based on that of Barry from the video game series.
Compared to Diamond, Pearl is hasty and easily angered and, according to Diamond, always goes out of his way to complete things he has started, which reflects the virtue that he is aligned with: willpower, which also makes him associated with Azelf. Pearl is also very bossy and usually tells Diamond and Platinum what to do. For his skills, he is given the title of "Determiner" (志す者 Determiner).
His father is very skilled in battling, and Pearl has learned a lot from him during his childhood, which has helped him in creating training sessions for Platinum to participate in for practice for her Gym challenges. One of his most amazing abilities is his skill of being able to tell what move a Pokémon is preparing to use. Like his two traveling companions, Pearl was not very strong when he first set out on his journey across Sinnoh but he got better under the training of Crasher Wake.
Because the two boys were neighbors during their childhood, Pearl and Diamond are practically as close as brothers. Even though Pearl often yells and smacks Diamond, Pearl truly does care for Diamond. Conversely, Pearl dislikes Platinum's arrogant attitude towards Diamond and himself. Despite the fact that he often yells and criticizes her, Pearl always helps Platinum by helping prepare her for her goals and dreams, and is often amazed by her knowledge and perseverance. The two quickly got used to the other's personality and have become close friends.

Black is a young man who aspires to be the Champion of the Unova Pokémon League. He has been dreaming of this since childhood, nine years to be exact. However, these dreams fill his head to the point where he cannot think about anything else and any attempts to cause him to pass out from mental exhaustion. With his Munna, Musha, Black can have him eat his dreams, which he refers to turning his mind from "blank white" to "solid black". This technique, known as (Japanese: 推理タイム Detective Time), allows him to think much more clearly, become smarter, and improve perception. Also, when he does this, he apparently sees in hexagons. Due to his dreams causing him to forget about other things, Black has the tendency to do things without considering the consequences of his actions and their effects on other people. As the series goes on, Black slowly begins to consider the feelings of others and even manages to be able to think about other things for brief periods of time.
He has been described as "hot blooded" by several characters due to his loud nature and tendency to do things on his own. He doesn't understand show business like White does and many aspects of it surprise him, such as Gigi and Tep getting to stay in a hotel room while he and White have to camp out. He is very familiar with libraries and went there frequently as a child, allowing him to complete Lenora's Gym puzzle very quickly, setting a new record in the process. Black's tendency to dream also causes him to miss the things happening around him, such as when he completely forgot his promise with his friends Cheren and Bianca once he received the package holding the Pokémon and Pokédexes they were going to receive. For his skills, he is given the title of "Dreamer" (夢みる者 Dreamer), which he shares with White.

Despite his young age, Blake is a member of the International Police with an S rank in the organization. He received training of International Police, and civil and military. He is tasked with searching for any remaining members of the villainous group, Team Plasma. When undercover, he acts like a womanizer by constantly flirting with the girls around him. When he is on the job, he takes on a more serious and professional persona. Because of his flirting skills, the superior also call him Mr. Perfect. For his skills, he is given the title of "Arrester" (逮捕る者 Arrester).

Y is the daughter of Grace, a famous Rhyhorn racer. Since her childhood, Y has been raised by Grace to follow in her footsteps as a Rhyhorn racer as well. Annoyed at her mother's attempts to decide her future without her consent, Y rebelled and chose to attend Vaniville Town's Sky Trainer academy to learn how to become a Sky Trainer instead. This decision however, spiked many arguments between mother and child. For her skills, she is given the title of "Flyer" (翔ぶ者 Flyer).

For his endeavors to collect money, he is given the title of "Saver" (貯める者 Saver)

Moon is a girl from the Sinnoh region. She does not enjoy Alola's tropical air, stating that it doesn't suit her character. She isn't one to be fooled by others, easily seeing through Sun's deception and seeing through the lies of the Team Skull Grunts. Moon is a pharmacist and is proficient with making various types of medicine. Due to this occupation, Moon is very knowledgeable about various poisons, as certain kinds can be used to make medicine. In addition to the possible benefits of poison, Moon favors Poison-type Pokémon and finds them to be cute. Moon is also a skilled archer, which helps her get medicinal supplies by firing at the desired item with her bow and arrow.
Due to coming from a family of scholars, Moon prefers to use her intelligence to devise strategies in battle. As such, concepts she considers "unscientific", such as luck, tend to annoy her if they end up defeating her strategies. For her skills, she is given the title of "Mixer"

Bianca is a newly starting out Pokémon Trainer along with her two friends, Black and Cheren. She and Cheren are well acquainted with Professor Juniper and were the ones who recommended him to be the third Unova Pokédex holder despite her having never met the boy before. She is described as a girl who goes about in her own pace and is prone to impulsive actions that can get her and those around her in trouble.

Wally is a young boy that is stricken with an unknown illness (possibly acute bronchitis, or asthma, based on his symptoms). As the series goes on, Wally slowly becomes healthier and his lungs become stronger, though he still needs to use his respirator suit.
Wally is a caring boy who always puts others before himself and puts trust in his Pokémon. At first, he was frail and weak but after going on his adventure Wally becomes much stronger, more confident in his abilities, and a more powerful Trainer.

Shauna is a short girl with a tan skin tone, dark green eyes, and long brown hair which she keeps in pigtails. Shauna chooses to wear a dark pink T-shirt decorated by three large black bows and a pair of denim shorts with a black frilly bobble on the bottom, also complimenting her black frilly wristband. Shauna wears a white purse with a matching design on her shirt with a pink hood and a large black bow. On her feet, she wears dark pink ballet type shoes with short heels.
Shauna's dream is to be a Furfrou stylist. At times, though, Shauna makes snide comments, showing her attitude and displeasure at certain moments. She also respects agreements and does not like it if others do not follow the orders the group has made. Shauna can also be quite emotional at sad or happy moments.

Cheren is a Pokémon Trainer along with his two friends, Bianca and Black. Cheren is a very polite person and is prone to apologizing for even the most pointless of reasons. He and Bianca are well acquainted with Professor Juniper and were the ones who recommended Black to be the third Unova Pokédex holder despite her having never met the boy before.
Cheren has known Black since they were both children and has memorized all of his various quirks.

Tierno is a tall, heavy-set boy with black hair in a short back and sides that also resembles the leaves on Chespin's head. One of his most noticeable qualities is that he has a rather overweight physique. Even so, this hardly seems to impact his desire to be a dancer. He is shown wearing a large black T-shirt that has a Vanillite design on it, orange cargo shorts, a yellow backpack, and matching black and yellow sneakers. Tierno also wears a yellow watch with a black wristband.
Tierno is a friendly guy, who aspires to become a dancer. Tierno sometimes gets inspiration for his new dancing moves from his Pokémon, Corphish and sometimes uses his Roller Skates to improve himself. This also allows Tierno to develop certain strategies, both in battles and outside them.

Trevor is a small and thin boy with orange rounded hair and grey eyes. He wears a white collared shirt under a blue tank top with a Poké Ball logo on his left side of the chest, and has charcoal pants with lime green lace-up shoes. He also wears the Holo Caster around his neck and a green backpack shaped like a smiley face.
Trevor is a quiet boy, who wants to become a scholar. This leads Trevor to become quite interested in certain things and express his comments and thoughts on the subject. Rarely, however, Trevor can become quite determined and point out the ethics and morality behind things. Trevor also cares deeply for his friends, wishing they all follow their dreams.

Hau is a dark-skinned boy, with dark green hair, which is tied into a short ponytail with an orange band. Hau wears a black shirt, yellow board shorts with orange and white flowers on them and orange shoes and backpack. Hau is mostly seen smiling and being cheerful.
Hau has a childish personality; he only seeks battles for fun. Hau is also a fan of the malasada.

Gladion is a young boy with yellow hair and green eyes. His hair appears to be cut into squares and is styled for his bangs to perpetually obscure one of his eyes. He wears a grey hooded shirt with a red decoration on it, some black slashed sleeves, slashed black pants and red shoes with grey soles and black laces. He also has a red rectangular bag around his waist.
Gladion is a determined boy, who does not believe Pokémon battles are meant for fun, but to solve problems. He claims he has a burden, that drives him to win battles. His goal is to defeat Ultra Beasts and protect Alola, and while doing so, he is shown to be be ruthless when pursuing his goals.
Sun and Kahili point out that he did that because he is afraid of the Z-Moves, even though he denied it and taunted Sun for his failure to use them. But despite all of his flaws, Gladion is shown to care about his sister greatly, and would protect her from threats.
