Band Pride is an upcoming original story-plotted racing game regarding band instruments turned into GO-KARTS! Depending on which instrument you choose to play throughout the story, your main band-kart will be based on the instrument you play as you go through personalized upgrades. This game serves as an important and motivating message to stay confident in what you believe in, because it will always come back to you. No matter how long it takes to find your strength and take a stand against musical emotional destruction, you should always stay true to yourself and stand up for what you believe in.
Summary
You, Devereux Dempsey, start off as a homeless and starved adult who has lost everything. While being the only family member alive, he starts off brand new into a community band by gaining back interest to play a musical instrument from when he was in middle and high school bands just by not only a piece of paper, but a flier that is served to many other musicians to be encouraged on joining a band. Your band director, Ms. Lavender, first finds you and becomes worried sick about your current state, so you are encouraged to have the best life you will ever receive as not only the next big musician, but a motorist around the world. As time goes on, you will encounter section leaders and other friends that can guide you throughout the game, including assistance from your band director.

Hello band students,
If anyone's planning to audition for Grace, please make sure you send your auditions by January 28th @12PM CST! There's a chance I might give people a little extra time in case of last minute auditions, but once we get the new VA in our Discord server soon, we need to get lines up and going so I can animate the rest of the cutscenes. A quick reminder that we are still in need of a songwriter for writing lyrics for some bonus tracks of the game, and we are in need of concept artists and a graphic designer for world logos. If you have someone that you know that they are keen to this project, please recommend them to me!
If you don't end up getting cast as Grace, you can also apply for being a beta tester! We have a limited space of 5 extra people to test out the demo and give feedback and critique before we launch the demo on April. First come, first serve!

Hello band students,
Thank you all so much for your current support for Band Pride and our studio! There's already almost 10 auditions that stumbled upon for Grace. We just opened up a new crew role (forgot to do that sooner), which is 1 more GUI artist for logos for each world/level! We are also in desperate need for concept artists, world/race level designers, and a songwriter since one major key member has unfortunately dropped out from the project.
The deadline for ALL auditions for Grace is January 27th @3AM CST! The newly selected VA will be given instructions regarding NDA, the script, and when we'll publicly announce that said VA on the next trailer or promotional content and skits.
Band Pride's chapter 1 demo is set to release on April 2025! 🎺🏁

Grace serves as a compassionate trombonist in the community band. She is a business intern and observes on what it's like being a section leader for the band. Grace thoroughly organizes her section whenever the main trombone Axel is gone.
UPDATE: PLEASE make sure "prix" is pronounced as "PR-EE". Here's a video that can help you get your audition right.

One of our concept artists recently dropped out, so we're looking for 1 or 2 new artists to help out with some artwork for the game, mostly world design (i.e. race tracks, props, etc.). Any software of use is your choice!

Whenever the game's demo and full release builds are complete, I will be letting you test out the game early alongside the cast and crew prior to release.
Band Pride will be made in Unreal Engine 5, and I (Director Dillon) am currently the only one coding this game, so I may need your help in case of potential bugs and vice-versa.
You MUST have Discord and a compatible laptop/PC to beta test the game. There's a limited space of 5 people.
Requirements:
- Must have Windows 10 or 11.
- Make sure your C/system drive has enough space to install Band Pride (estimate size is 1-2 GB).
- Discord username, so I can invite you to the cast and crew server.
