A man in his late 20's fresh out of med school and feeling overwhelmed with his job. On the timid/quiet side.
(Quizzical) I thought you said we had a new development.
(Insistent) Its- its not that. I just want to do as much as I can to help -
(Desparate) . . . no, no, wait -
Police officer from a small town. Been there, seen that. Calm and good-natured.
We held off on the autopsy- 'thought you'd be better suited for the job.
(Interrupting) - and you're doing that! Take a break, doctor. Take the coat off for a night.
(Good-natured) Looks like you've had one hell'uva day, son. You doing okay?
We think she jumped a fence running from the attacker.
(Matter-of-fact) Same as the others. Heart removed with frightening precision, wound resealed thereafter.
Looks like a dead end for now. We've got a few possible course of events but - (is interrupted)
