Audiobook - The Last Elf
Project Overview
This is my own original ideas that I've had for a while now, and I wish to make it into an audiobook.
Summary: The three races are at war: The elves, humans and spirits. When the kingdom of the elves gets annihilated, there is only one elf that was able to escape. Her name is Zeraphine. She meets people that want to help her to obtain peace and get back her kingdom. On their way to obtain peace by having a bizarre adventure, a war breaks out between all races, as everything goes down in place. Can this be fixed?

I need someone to help me make pictures that go with the audiobook. Of course, I can do this myself, but I thought It'd be more fun to have someone help me!
Say something you think would fit
Zeraphine is the princess and the lone survivor of the elves. She is the main character, and very smart. She is reticent; doesn't easily open up to people due to her being an elf. She may seem calm and collected, but because she lost people dear to her, she has darkness in her heart and can be quite murderous. As much as she wants to avenge the elves, she keeps it cool, but is easily annoyed by the spirits, the murderers of the elves. She puts people she truly trusts above anyone else though.
It's not that I'm scared, it's just that I'm worried about your well-being.
I do not fear death if it means being able to protect you guys. I trust you upon accomplishing what I've started: obtaining peace.
Elves will be slaves to spirits, and the royal family will be killed. I don’t know when, but I’m scared. Soon, the race of the elves will be gone.
Airen might seem cold-hearted at first, but Zeraphine and Shawn change him for the better. Slowly, he opens up to them, as he goes from introvert to extrovert. He also has a form of separation stress because he got forced to kill and torture elves and humans when he was little. He got scared of the people that forced him to do so, so when he is alone, he shuts down.. He cares a lot for his friends, and is one of the main protagonists of the book. He is a spirit that killed Vivi. He is very strong and intelligent, and knows everything about mythical creatures.
He originally had black hair, but when he heard the screams of tortured persons and killed Vivi, his hair went white due to stress. It was then that he realized he had to escape the spirits.
You pronounce Airen as Ee-run.
You're in my way. I have no need for pesky little elves like you. Rest easy, I'll make your death quick.
Zeraphine... I have to tell you something. The spirit that killed Vivi.... That was me...
We're supposed to go there?! Oh no, nope! Nu-uh! Not doing it!! It's exactly the place where I escaped from. If I return, they're gonna kill me, no doubt... Eeheh....
Shawn is very optimistic and cheery, but not the smartest. He always manages to brighten up people's days and trusts people really easily. Even though he seems like the perfect happy person, he has a dark past that gave him PTSD. The incident connected to it was that his house was on fire, and his parents were burning alive while he just sat there, not being able to move because he was paralyzed.
Later in the story, his PTSD lets him go crazy and slowly goes insane, as he changes into one of the main badguys when Zeraphine and Airen try to save the world [AKA last stage of story.]
He becomes evil together with his dead father, whom is now a spirit, who manipulates his son into helping him, since he, as a human being, still has an useful purpose.
Come on, guys! Don't be so negative! Look what we've reached already; a bond between a human, an elf and a spirit!!
May I ask a question? Zeraphine... Who actually are you? We know your name is Zeraphine, but... Nothing else... Yet you know everything about me and Snow White! [Snow white is nickname for Airen].
Look. I don't know what's going on, but I know this. We will survive, okay? I... I promise.... I know we will.
Vivi used to be the best friend and maiden of Zeraphine before she got brutally murdered. Vivi is very loyal, sweet and kind. She often worries over nothing, and she may act childish at times.
Even though she dies early in the book, Vivi makes some other appearances like with flashbacks and nightmares.
Miss Zeraphine? It looks like you've seen a spirit or something. May I ask what's wrong?
Don't worry about me! All that matters is you! You're the princess!
There's no way... THERE'S NO WAY I'LL LET YOU TOUCH PRINCESS ZERAPHINE!
Retsu is an elf that survived the massacre because she lived in the forest and teached herself the arts of magic. While she acts friendly and buddy-buddy with Zeraphine, she is actually half-elf and half-spirit due to her parents being like Romeo and Juliet. She is very introverted but isn't shy. She sometimes has trouble to see who are the right persons, and who are trying to use her because she is the only one that is able to perform magic. Retsu doesn't show up until later in the story.
What do you mean, 'traitor'? I never even said I was on your side to begin with. Because... I'm not an elf. The only reason why I was able to perform magic, is because I'm a hybrid of two races.
I will NOT teach you the arts of magic. You need to earn my trust first, and sweetie, you haven't shown me anything good enough for me to trust you.
Meteor is Zeraphine's dad, and the king of the elves before he died. He is intimidating, yet very kindhearted.
Zeraphine... I love you with my whole heart. I truly believe you will obtain peace for this world. As for me and your mother, it is time for us to say goodbye.
Venus is Zeraphine's mother. She is very supportive and would give anything up for her daughter. She even sacrificed herself for her. She is very calm and collected yet very brave.
My dearest daughter, I know you will make a great queen.
Oh dearest, you would never be able to upset me. You're always trying your hardest!
I know we're fighting a losing battle... But there isn't any other option for Zeraphine to escape unnoticed!
