Project Overview

NOTE: This series is an 18+ series due to the major adult content we will be engaging with. Know that no matter what we do, we will never lean into any sort of sexual nature, and we will always take triggers and consent into account. Minors will not be allowed to audition. Any auditions received will not be taken into consideration.

The Other Place Musical Synopsis

Our protagonist is a fresh out of highschool new adult, who moves with their mother to a small town in Nevada, quite literally off the map. However, upon arriving, nothing is as it seems. A Grim Reaper for mayor, a dead girl ressurrected, a punk rock demon princess? However, our protagonist’s world turns upside down completely, when they open up a strange book in the town library, and fall into a dark and devilish world below. The hope is to create an audio drama first, and then an animation!

AUDITION INFORMATION:

  • Please note that you can audition to be both a Singer and Voice Actor, or just one of the two.

  • Please don’t stress about the gender of a character. You can audition regardless!

DEADLINE:

  • This is our largest project to date, and will need ample time for casting consideration. Because of this, the casting window will be open in extensions all the way until December! Casting will in fact take around this long, which is why we are getting the jump on it now to prepare for an easy rehearsal process.

  • During this process, there will also be chemistry tests and callbacks to look out for.

By booking a role, you will also be given membership into the studio!

    Hello everyone!
    Once again, we will be holding another extension! These extensions will continue through December, and officially end in February, to ensure that as many people as possible get the chance to audition. The director of this project is currently out on contract until February, but rest assured, callback schedules and package are being made as of now. More info to come!
