Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Hello, everyone!
We are currently holding auditions for the launch phase of Project Fearful, an immersive 4 player co-op horror extraction game. In Project Fearful, players drop into dark, high-stakes environments where communication is survival, equipment failure means death, and teammates can be dragged away into the dark.
We are casting a diverse group of voice actors to bring our contractor crew, dispatch systems, and corrupted entities to life. Actors cast for main roles will also provide lines for minor system alerts and contextual lines.
Tone: Gritty, tense, grounded, and terrifying. Think The Outlast Trials and Phasmophobia.
Language: English. Actors must be comfortable delivering high-intensity lines (screams, heavy breathing, panic, glitched/corrupted vocal distortions).
Compensation: Paid via PayPal or Wise. (Specific rates listed per role below).
Credits: All voice actors will be credited in the game's official menu, social channels, and media showcases.
THE VIBE & SETTING
Attonitus is built on thick tension, spatial audio, and claustrophobic dread. You are part of a crew dropped into hostile, decaying facilities. You have to talk to your team over crackling radio channels, keep your nerves steady as your sanity frays, and race to rescue crewmates before they're lost to the dark for good.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
Clean Audio: Please submit raw, clean recordings captured on professional/prosumer microphones. No background static, fan noise, or room echo.
No FX: Please leave all audio processing (reverb, glitched audio, static, spatial filters) to our sound engineer. Provide clean, unprocessed tracks.
Takes: Provide 2-3 of your best takes per line in a single uncompressed .wav file.
Communication: We manage our voice cast primarily through Discord. Active participation in our project Discord is required for direction, retakes, and updates.
