Please Stay Tuned is an upcoming dark comedy animated web series pilot about a TV headed man named CRT who arrives at a strange city with the goal of being watched.
The project has been in the works for over a year and reached animation completion but due to quality concerns, the story has been changed and the project rewritten requiring a reanimation. Due to heavy changes to characters, recasting as well as additional, extra roles are needed.
The pilot is estimated to be released in 2020 and depending on it's success, may or may not become a full series.
REQUIREMENTS
-Good audio quality/microphones, no laptop mics or heavy background noise.
-This project contains instances of swearing and at times, intense level of emotion. Being able to emote properly is an absolute need.
-An active discord account as this will be the main form of communication.
-Commitment to the role, as should the pilot do well, reprisal will be needed. Additional/Extra roles are an exception
-Due to the extreme indie nature of the episode, an entire episode script will not be recorded at the start but rather on a scene by scene basis as they are completed. Due to this, flexibility is needed. Storyboards and script will be provided during scene recording.
PAYMENT
All payment will be processed using Paypal and will be on a per line basis with the exception of the additional/extra roles which will be paid one flat payment. You can choose to be paid before or after the delivery of your lines.

CRT is a TV headed man who aspires to find a new audience in the city. He carries a very confident, almost salesman-like demeanor, when trying to "pitch" himself to new people however, behind the scenes he is very anxious and carries a constant fear of becoming obsolete.
CRT carries a british accent and is on the slightly higher side in terms of pitch. He is able to sound very confident, optimistic and charismatic however, when he is alone his facade breaks and he becomes shy, awkward, paranoid, and emotional. The ability to switch between the two is an absolute necessity to the character.
Improv ability is a plus.

(Charismatic) "Good day sir! Tired of your boring existence? Well I've got just the thing for you!"
(Charismatic with underlying anxiety) "No no no, you saw what happened to the last guy who went on stage. He did a bow and then he... burst into flames."
(Anxious) "You know that one ice cream cone is going to be what puts you in the grave right? The doctor will be all, "oh if he didn't eat that one ice cream cone he'd still be here right now!" (hysterical laughter)
Hostess is a friendly face who loves to spread joy, happiness and love to the people of the city. She also loves it when people follow her rules and doesn't want anyone going around hurting themselves. Her friendlyness however is...kinda...uncanny?
Hostess is a sweet, caring character and her voice should reflect that. However, there should be something off about it, something that sounds just a bit too friendly...even creepy to a degree.

(caring) "What are you doing out so late? You know it's recommended you get 8 hours of sleep a night."
(comforting) "Forget about what happened last night! The past is the past! It's only going to hurt you more if you think on it!"
(Laughter)
