Project Overview
THE DEADLINE MAY CHANGE!!
Synopsis: Ron walks into the woods to get some fresh air. Sadly, he discovers something horrifying after meeting a new friend.
The script is already finished. The character designs are already created. Please have a Discord acc if you want to join this project.
I will create a discord server for this project, so PLEASE have discord. If your audio is really bad (being too loud/too quiet, having too much background noise, or just having a shitty mic) you will NOT be accepted. This animation is being created for a college portfolio and will be worked on throughout this year and next year. The discord server is to keep the VAs and music composers updated on the project as it goes along.
The deadline may change for the music composers, depending on how much time they need.

Ron is a very anxious young adult. He's always careful with what he says and tries to be nice to everyone he meets. It's very hard to make Ron burst out in anger. He's not quiet, per se, but can be very hesitant at times. When playing this character, don't be afraid to speak loud and clear (but make sure your voice has a bit of softness to it).
Think of Ron's voice like an introverted youtuber going to their first convention. They're nervous, soft-spoken, but are smiling the whole way though to convince other people that they're not anxious at all.
"Ow!" (inhale sharply through your teeth)

"GEEZ! (pause) Oh, hi! I- I didn’t notice you there..."
Ron was startled because the area he's currently in is usually empty (when it comes to people). Say this line as if you're an awkward teen trying to talk to a friend you haven't seen in years. You're happy, nervous, and you don't want to make a bad first impression.
"Shit, shit, shit, shit- Where am I?? This isn't good..."
Ron is lost in the woods and it's getting dark outside. Say this line as if you feel like your life is in danger. You're filled with anxiety, like a young child getting lost at an amusement park.

Jenna is an 11-year-old, so of course she's going to act childish and friendly. While Jenna does not talk to many people as often as other children, she's still happy-go-lucky and playful to anyone she meets. However, Jenna is not the kind of child to fall for the "candy van" trick. She's witty and smart, but that can be overshadowed by her childish behavior.
"(she giggles) That’s silly talk! How did you not notice me? I was right here!"

Maxine is a bitch. She doesn't care for other people's well-being and only for her own self-image. There's no clear reason why she and Ron are dating, but their relationship is clearly toxic. Maxine is really good at manipulating people into doing what she wants; giving her money, doing her chores, having sex with her, etc.
Maxine's headcanon voice is Verosica from Helluva Boss (Vivsiepop), if that helps any VA planning to audition.

"That’s great to hear! But you should stop sitting around all by yourself like a selfish baby and instead go to a party like a normal person and talk to some people for once."

Gerald smokes, but do not make his voice REALLY scratchy. His voice is deep, but not deep like CorpseHusband. Think Keanu Reeves. How would Keanu Reeves say these lines today.
