She lay there comatose, vulnerable and oblivious to the fact that she was in the middle of a global terror.
As she began to regain consciousness, she noticed something was wrong. Her mind felt blank as though someone had erased fragments of her memory. She winced as the dead blades of grass grazed an open wound on her leg. Her eyes darted back and forth as she scanned her surroundings; she was in a forest.
She released a sigh of relief as she noticed a man in the distance. “Hello! Can you help me?” She called out. No response. The forest was silent as though trying to warn her of something. She grabbed onto a tree and lifted herself up and limped towards the figure. The man stood still, almost lifeless; giving no response to her cry for help. Her gut told her to stop, but she continued; not having any other choices.
Main character :teenager/17/18/young adult
Medium pitch (anime style female voice) not very high pitch
“Hello! Can you help me?”-distressed
(screaming)
"I- I don't know." - confused/exhausted
”I- I can help the group. I can- cook and collect resources”-pleading
"My family is alive. I can feel it. I have to find them."- with hope

"Our camp is a few minutes away. It's much safer there, I can't leave you alone here." - concerned
“I grew up with my aunt and my cousins, my aunt lived in the middle of nowhere but me and my cousins would get in some mischief. Man it was fun. There were woods in the back yard and we would explore. It was just Charlie, Danny, Ben and I. There was a creek and we would walk through it and look for washed up valuables. We would act like pirates and dig for buried treasure. If we were not looking for treasure in the creek, we were looking for the next pet to bring home.Charlie was the oldest. He used to get in trouble for everything.” - lighthearted/telling a story

“Well I don’t really know. We were at the state fair. Suddenly there was screaming and people were panicking. There was a lot of movement and we all got separated. There was a mob of flesh eaters attacking people at the fair. I tried to look for my family when I was running to the exit. I thought I would have seen them there, but they never came. I stood by the exit for a while but I couldn’t watch all those people being brutally ripped apart. It was so surreal. I waited at the house trying to call them with my phone nobody picked up. I waited at the house for 3 days;Nobody came home.

I was praying not to see their face along with the remains but I did. I saw…….my cousin Charlie's face. He was barely recognisable. That’s when it really hit me. I collapsed on the ground next to him.- emotion/grief

"Marco is the one who brought you into camp.Here, I'll introduce everyone since apparently I'm the only one who didn't forget common manners." "There are 5 of us in this "squad. There is Nicholas. My boyfriend and he is the tall, handsome, tan one with the dark umber hair and chocolate brown eyes. Oh, I am getting carried away. Aren't I? We have Marco, he's too sweet, he is basically the "mom" of the group. We have of course Jimmy. He is the shy tech nerd. We have your's truly me, Oh and Byron.(getting more serious) You haven't met him yet. He is a glorified walking d*uchebag and the unsaid leader of the group. Well actually, he likes to say it a lot."- light heartedly
