After Troy
Project Overview
After Troy is a single-player deck-building strategy game set in Greek myth, coming to PC on Steam. We're casting its four heroes and its narrator.
Heroes shout short lines in battle: "For Athena!", "Kneel.", "Too slow!". The narrator reads a short story to each hero while a new game loads.
Any natural English accent is welcome. No put-on Greek accent, please.
AUDITION: the lines listed for your role. One take each is enough.
DELIVERY (once cast): WAV, 48 kHz, 24-bit, dry, with no reverb, music or effects. Heroes: three takes of each line (calm, strong, full shout). Narrator: two full reads of each intro. One file per take, named by line. Self-directed, recorded at home.

Troy lives in us.
For Troy!
Male or female, 45+. Deep, weathered, unhurried. An old storyteller by the fire who has seen the war. Speaks to the hero, not about them. Four short intros of about 50 words each, played while a new game loads.
"Aeneas, son of Aphrodite. When Troy burned, you carried your father out through the fire and led your people after you. Now they look to you for a new home. Poseidon's sea has brought you to this shore. Build it, city by city, so that Troy is never forgotten."
