After School Lessons for Unripe Apples (webtoon fandub)
Project Overview
Heyy guyss!! I just found myself obsessed with a new webtoon i started reading, and I really wanted to make a fandub of it! Fandubs will be released 2-3 times a month depending on how busy the sched is and i am planning for this to be a long term project!
Summary:
Mi-ae is just a normal middle school girl trying to survive school. She likes reading comics, the pop group “The Fire Boys”, and karaoke. One day, a boy she used to know transfers to her school and begins to stir up trouble. No matter what she does, it seems he just doesn’t appreciate her efforts to get to know him. What’s up with that?
Requirements:
- Must be 14+ to audition
- good quality audio/mic !!
- must have a discord account and be regularly active
- Please keep in mind that this WILL be a long term project !!
- Project deadlines usually are 2-3 weeks for recording process. If you require more time than that it would be most inconvenient for you to audition.
- You can take more than one take, it is mostly preferred.

Cheol is a a tall middle schooler and nicknamed "Lucifer." for his cold, and scary demeanour. He is in reality, awkward and has a hard time socializing with his peers. But eventually softens up as he starts to open up to the people around him.
Voice Range: Medium Low-Medium
"Jinseop (jin-sohb) was acting weird at this place so I directed her here... What is she doing? Not going in?" (watching over, kind of concerned)
"HEY! What the hell are you doing! What's wrong with you?! Where did you get that?!" (panicking over almost getting caught)
WHAT DOES HE THINK HE'S DOING?! (shouting, incredibly shocked)
Jinseop Mo is the popular third year who is well known for his good looks and his charming attitude. He's also a player who either way, is still popular with girls. He is overly kind, but that could be to some extent.
Voice Range: Medium
Can't I get someone to help me? You wouldn't like that, huh. Why are you looking at me like that? (Trying to start casual conversation, overall just friendly)
You think I am some kind of bully? You're mistaken, I've never forced anyone to do anything for me. There are some things I never do... Like smoke, or steal money.
You're pretty careless, aren't you? (somewhat flirtatious, charismatic or swoon worthy)
Song Yi is the kind and pretty student council president who befriends Mi Ae. She is very considerate and helpful towards all of her classmates which makes her very popular.

"Cheol (chohl) , come over here! You're so tall, so I'd like you to help me change the bulbs." (Friendly tone, calling over)
"Don't mind him. I was in the same class as him last year. It's pretty obvious but, he's a jerk." **giggle** (Comforting, teasing)
"These one's are for you. Yesterday was pretty embarassing so.. Thank you for taking those cookies!" (flustered)
Lee Yunhui is one of Mi-ae's closer friends who is obsessed with Fire Boy's (the kpop band ;-;) and fan girls about them most of the time.

"Never! I will forever stay faithful to Yeontan!(Yohn-tan)! Leader-nim forever!" (fangirling)
"Woah really?! What's it like studying with Lucifer?" (curious, interested)
"Do you really not understand what your situation is right now! He's a gangster Mi-ae (mee-ae)!!" (concerned, reactive)
Hong Gyu is one of Cheol's friends. He is spunky and often gets into cat fights with Mi-ae and makes fun of her most of the time. He's the talker who is also hard headed and too much at times.

"Your reflexes are pathetic! The girl run's better than you!" (Instructing/coaching)
"Do you think I am some kind of kindergarten teacher?!" (annoyed)
"Why don't you go look at your face." (making fun of/teasing)
Jeong Wook is the kind of guy that goes with the flow and is super chill and friendly. He's a very welcoming and bright person and immediately gives off that impression when he is first introduced.
Voice type: Mid Low-Medium
"The exams are over now. What are you up to now? Wanna hang out?" (casual talk)
"I have all kinds of game consoles at my house. Have you ever played one?" (casual talk)
"Hmm? Huh, what's wrong." (genuinely confused)
Sun Jeong is Cheol's eldest sister who is quite outgoing and loud. She has a very outright and bold personality and can be cheeky at times.
Voice Range: Mid Low-Medium
Hey Cheol (Chohl)! Why do you only have one shoe? I gave you those as a present- (scolding)
"Anyway-- Be nice to my brother, okay? It's only right that you two get along."
"That's nonsense! How do you collect planes?" (finds it amusing, entertaining)
Cheol's Mom is a very soft spoken and gentle person, quite the opposite form Mi-ae's mother..

"Oh my, I am so sorry about him. He's acting shy I am sure of it."
"That reminds me of when Mi-ae would chase Cheol around with a book because he wouldn't play with her! That's quite funny!"
Cheol's dad is very friendly and smiley.

"Not this again. Did you get into a fight?!" (Suddenly angry)
"This is Cheol Kim. Go ahead son, say hi."
"I am a waste of space." (depressed, disappointed)
Mi-ae's mom is a very energetic and somehow short tempered woman. She likes to gossip with other moms and scold Mi-ae.
Voice Range: Medium
"Don't you dare think of hiding your report card form me!" (warning, raised tone)
"Mi-ae bring these side dishes to Cheol's apartment. These are to thank Ms. Kim for the gimbap (geem-bap) she made the other day."
"Wow he has grown quite tall! He's also very good at his studies form what I heard, he is such a smart and responsible boy!" (praising)
Mi-ae's dad is usually reserved and friendly.

"Hey go easy on her.."
"Dad will work hard to get you that swivel chair, okay."
"This is Mi-ae (Mee-ae) Hwang. Go on, say hi Mi-ae."
Yeonghui is a cool and badass seeming girl who first befriends Mi-ae when she firsts joins the cram school.

"I think it's better in the school yard, It's too sandy here." (complaining)
"I like Ryu-tan (reu-tahn) better, Yeontan (yohn-tahn) is too skinny for my taste. I think men should be muscular and handsome. Like him." (as a matter of factly, then flirtatious in the last line)
"Let me join too! I probably should be doing my home work anyways..."
Background character voices, I still have some extra Supporting character spots that need to be filled in like teachers and named characters so you may have a dual role of a supporting character and an extra :)
"Guy's! Lucifer is transferring to class twelve!" (announcing)
"Cheol and Mi-ae is such an old duo haha!" (making fun of)

Anyone can audition for the Narrator! But it would be preferred for a female to audition, but anyone is welcome to try
This girl... She's not the rebellious type. It's not that she's some kind of exception, but she just doesn't get it.
She's known him since they were little, but they're not childhood friends. Just to clarify.
She was a very good runner. And the name of this girl who was now in middle school is...
Sora Jeon is one of Mi-ae's classmates in cram school. She is usually very unresponsive and uninterested most of the time when things are happening. She is very blunt and plain, usually responding to answers in a rude manner, saying no, or just making gestures and barely even responses.
Voice Range: Medium Low-Medium

"Shut up, you're getting on my nerves you tramp."
"Hmmp, Hmm."
Jihye is one of the girls included in Mi-ae's friend group. She is the softer and shyer one, who is considerate and kind.

"KYAAA! Fire boys forever!" ((fangirling))
"Hey hey, stop laughing." ((trying to be considerate to her friend.))
"Oh my God! What are you going to do now?! I can't believe you got paired with him. Talk about bad luck." ((curious, worried))
Jinseon may seem like a nerdy and rude person, but she actually has a lot to say. She and Yunhui are the biggest talkers in the group and loves The Fire Boys, Like a lot. She's the biggest fan girl ever.

"WAHHHH omg Yeontan (yohn-tahn) my love." ((half crying))
"We should have signed up earlier, it's a bit late for us.." ((regret))
"You're so lucky! Jinseop is so handsome, hah~" ((swooning))
10 year old Cheol isn't much different from 15 year old Cheol. Just a younger sounding, and innocent.
Voice Range: Medium (??? he needs to sound like a young boy lol)
"Stop being so Clingy." ((annoyed, cold))
"STOP SAYING THAT! STOPITSTOPITSTOPIT!" ((upset, very angry.))
"Are you sure we're doing this right? You might step on my foot." ((hesitant))
Hwani is Cheol and Sunjeong's Youngest sister. She's around 10 years old and she's very pure and cute without effort.

The reference is just to get an idea of what her voice should sound like, it doesn't need to be exactly like that though.

"Hwani probably doesn't remember because she was a baby..."
Johan is the somewhat nerdy, but spontaneous character who just seems like he wants to get along with the other cram students. He's very organized and keen, but has a seeming rivalry/hate for Hong gyu.
Voice Range: Medium-Medium High
"I'll give you my notes, if you promise to teach me how to play soccer. Deal?" ((negotiating))
"Ugh get off me! I hate you-" ((flustered, annoyed))
"Why should I do anything for you? Besides, you're not Mi-ae."
Taekwang Go is an eerily quiet and lonely sort of person who would rather listen to Japanese music rather than socially interact with any of his fellow cram school classmates. He rarely speaks but his voice can be shocking when he does speak up

It’s better to turn a blind eye from things in some situations.
