THE ADVENTURES OF BATMAN & ROBIN — INTRO

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Adventures of Batman & Robin is a fan-made 2D animated Batman series inspired by the classic animated Batman cartoons and comic-book style storytelling. The series follows Batman and Robin as they protect Gotham City, take on a variety of villains, and experience action-packed adventures with plenty of humor and character moments along the way.

This project is for completing the opening intro sequence and creating its theme music.

I am a beginner animator creating the series, and I have already completed the first 7 seconds of the intro, including the Gotham City establishing shot and the Batmobile sequence.

I am now looking for an animator who can help finish the remaining portion of the intro, as well as someone who can create the intro theme music.

WHAT YOU'LL BE ANIMATING

You will be responsible for animating the remaining 44 seconds of the intro, beginning at approximately 0:07.

The planned sequence is:

0:00–0:05 — Gotham City establishing shot

ART STYLE

The intro will use a 2D comic-book/cartoon animation style.

The goal is to make the intro feel like an energetic opening sequence for a classic Batman animated series rather than realistic or heavily detailed animation.

Character model sheets and reference material will be provided to help keep the characters consistent.

I will provide the necessary character references, designs, and other visual information needed for the scenes.

WHAT I'LL PROVIDE

After you are cast, I will provide the necessary production materials, including:

• Character model sheets

• Character designs

• Pose/action references when needed

• Background/reference material

• Intro timeline and scene directions

• Other visual references needed to complete your assigned scenes

The character model sheets will primarily be shared through Google Drive/Google Slides, although files and references can also be sent through Discord if necessary.

COMMUNICATION

Communication and project coordination can be handled through Discord and/or Gmail.

Once you have been officially cast, we can discuss the specific scenes, animation process, file sharing, deadlines, and any questions you have about the intro.

Animation should begin after you have been officially cast and have received the necessary materials.

WHO I'M LOOKING FOR

I'm looking for an animator who is comfortable with 2D character animation and can work with a cartoon/comic-book style.

I'm also looking for someone who can create the intro theme music to accompany the opening sequence.

You don't necessarily need to be a professional animator or musician. What matters most is that you can bring the scenes and music to life while following the provided character designs and direction.

Someone who enjoys Batman, superhero animation, comic books, or animated series would be a great fit for this project.

IMPORTANT

This is a fan-made Batman animation project and is being created independently.

The goal is to create a fun, energetic opening that introduces the world of The Adventures of Batman & Robin, its heroes, and some of the villains they'll encounter.

I have already completed the opening 7 seconds, so the animator joining this project will be helping complete the rest of the intro rather than starting from scratch.

I'm excited to work with another animator and bring this intro to life!
