On how we record: whoever gets cast as the caller (Daniel/Danielle) for this scene will record their lines first. I'll then send those to the actor playing the part of Dr. Ryder. I need the voice actor playing Daniel/Danielle to sound as though they're actively having a conversation on the phone with someone. Not just someone reading one line and then another line. You are having a conversation with Dr. Ryder.
The character is *concerned* but not terrified by a strange encounter they're experiencing with a house they just bought. This is a more "light-hearted" haunting if anything.
Sorry. Let me explain: I buy and flip houses. No, I mean, that's not true. I'm an accountant. I work in a cubicle. But I watch a lot of HGTV - shows where people buy and flip houses, and I thought, "Hey, I could do that. That looks exciting and fun - more fun than accounting." So I bought a fixer-upper sight unseen. And I'm here now. In the house I did not see. And there's this *intense* paisley wallpaper pattern that... moves from room to room. And I feel it... feel it staring at me.
