A Smashin' Good Time
Project Overview
Smash Kingdom, a vast land filled to the brim with a plethora of unique individuals and locations, that hundreds would be more than willing to visit...If it weren't for one minor detail.
Once you're in Smash Kingdom, you can never leave.
So, now stuck within a land that they're doomed to wander for the rest of their lives, the denizens of this place have attempted to make the best of their situation, attempting to continue their lives and maybe even begin to live them properly again. Though, that in itself is quite the problem, as just about everyone living there is insane, ridiculously moronic, narcissistic, self-destructive, and above all else...Violent.
These are these unfortunate souls' stories.

If you couldn't tell from the above information, this series is a machinima based on the Super Smash Bros Ultimate engine. The series is already in pre-production in terms of character creation, script writing, finding a suitable soundtrack, etc. We've already got quite a few people involved, but we have one major issue.
We NEED some quality voice actors.
What we're looking for are people with at least decent quality microphones who can help bring the characters of this series to life. Of course, we aren't looking for perfection, so if we see potential in you despite a low quality microphone, you may still get the role, but we would still encourage buying a better mic, and we will be more biased towards those with better ones in a tie.
Be warned that the series itself is gonna be kinda vulgar, with a plethora of dark comedy and handling of more sensitive things that some people might not approve of. Sure, we won't be Family Guy or anything, but we feel it's still necessary to warn others of this, if only out of obligation.
We are currently only casting for main characters and those who'll be featured in the first episode at the moment. All those interested in the project will be alerted when more auditions will be needed.

I just want to thank everyone who auditioned to be a part of the series, you guys are the best! I have luckily filled the role of everybody I need at the moment, but that doesn't mean that every role has been filled for the future. In fact, many of you still have a chance to get into the series, as I will be posting additional casting calls for other things involving it, including an upcoming teaser for the series, which will require two additional roles! A blunt and easily annoyed individual, Lucario is a Pokémon who has recently been released by his former trainer, Red. Hurt by his trailer's actions, he quickly put up a defensive wall around himself, usually treating those around him like idiots, or children he needs to constantly babysit, because otherwise, he doubts they'd live longer than a couple days. In all reality though, he's secretly codependent, latching onto others quickly as a way of keeping himself from thinking too much about what happened.
I'm looking for a gruff, baritone voice, similar to his voice in Lucario & The Mystery Of Mew.
"I swear, it's as if you idiots need me around just to function!"
"Here's an idea; how about we all shut up and actually come up with a plan!"
"Do any of you even listen to me?!"
Initially a kindhearted and approachable person, with time, Marth has slowly grown into a cynical, isolated one who pushes others away and openly holds himself on a higher pedestal above them. Condescending and narcissistic, he has few allies within the kingdom, and the few he does have he treats more like servants than actual friends.
I'm looking for a "high-class" voice, similar to that of your stereotypical rich guy. Adding in a bit of a British accent wouldn't hurt.
"To think, I used to actually associate with those commoners."
"Lucina, make sure to have a cleaning team on standby. I don't want anything staining my arena's marble flooring."
"Honestly, I'd laugh at your misery, if I weren't already above that kind of pathetic humor."
Lucina holds the appearance of a dignified, well-dressed young lady, deserving of the highest respect. In all reality, Lucina is good at precisely one thing...Fighting. Everything else on the other hand is rather lacking. She's incapable of having a normal conversation, is socially awkward beyond all belief, is overly loyal to people who she really shouldn't be around at all...Basically she has no people skills.
She's going to be a very loud and hammy character, so try to find a voice you're comfortable doing that kinda thing with.
"Right away, King Marth, I will do so post-haste!"
"How dare you speak that way about him! I'll make you eat your words!"
"Have at thee, you traitorous heathen!"
The resident joke of the kingdom, few people who live there truly take him all that seriously, seeing him as a bumbling buffoon...And in all honesty, he is. However, he's also loyal to a fault, incredibly kind, and determined to accomplish anything he decides upon. In his eyes, it's impossible to give up on anything, and in the wake of failure, he just gets up and tries harder. Sure, he may not have many friends, but that won't hinder him at all, because in his eyes, nothing is truly impossible to accomplish!
A boisterous and loud voice would do wonders with him, similar to that of class 80s action heroes and the like. But if you come up with something you think works better, try it out.
"Show me your moves!"
"A bird of prey never lets the hunt get away!"
"Never give up my friends, because with a little hope, we can beat anything!"
A frankly pretty adorable little rat, he actually went missing for a number of years, with very little to nobody noticing or acknowledging his absence in that time. Upon suddenly showing up again though, people immediately went back to seeing him as nothing more than an adorable little kid...Despite the fact he's gotten a whole lot more sneaky and manipulative then they could ever imagine.
I want a high-pitched voice that sounds innocent for this role, but is capable of showcasing his more sinister intentions.
"I-I'm sorry Miss Lucina...I didn't mean to..."
"Ha! I can't believe those bozos fell for that! It was almost too easy!"
"Man, this might have been my biggest success yet!"
An enthusiastic and kind young man, who has recently been appointed as the mayor of the kingdom, and often is in charge of setting up events for the citizens to partake in. The only issue is...He doesn't actually get too much work done. In fact, he seems to actively avoid work as much as possible, doing more meaningless tasks instead of his own amusement. Despite this, he's a good guy...Just not too bright of one.
Basically any voice could work with this, but try to make him sound "normal", I guess?
"Isabelle, it's really not too hard to entertain these people. They're not exactly fine art critics."
"Apparently I'm required to listen to any and all issues presented before me...Personally, I think I'd prefer living in Norfair."
"If I was able to, I'd ban Pokemon. Nothing against them in all, but they are sort of an accident waiting to happen."
The Mayor's right-hand woman and most loyal friend, Isabelle has always been there for him, helping him in any way she can while making sure those around her are as happy as they can be. Adorable and innocent in a multitude of ways, she makes friends easily, though sometimes, the friends she does make can come across as a little...Untrustworthy, to say the least.
Similar to the Mayor, she should sound a bit normal, but in her case, maybe a bit more high-pitched.
"I hope everything goes well. After all, you worked so hard on this!"
"In some ways, I'm kinda scared to think of what'd happen if you weren't around."
"Don't worry about me, I can get this done, I promise that much!"
A wise, aged soul, Donkey Kong was one of the first souls to be trapped within the kingdom, and as a benefit of this, is one of only a few to have gotten his life together. Staying on the outskirts, he lives in his hut alongside his parental figure, Cranky Kong, and is rarely visited by others due to the dangerous waters surrounding it. A friend to those who respect his privacy, he's a terrifying foe when disrespected.
A deeper, more aged voice could work, but honestly, I could see a lot of things working with him, so experiment a bit if you want.
"Wow, you kids seem less...Violent, than usual."
"Don't worry, Cranky, they'll be off our property real soon."
"Hey, don't go talkin' to him like that! You're lucky I don't pulverize you on the spot!"
The supposed "Hero of the Wild", Link was believed by many to be their big hero, who would help free them from the confinement of Smash Kingdom. In all reality, what immediately happened is that he quickly shook all his responsibilities and ran out into the wilderness, avoiding his job as much as he can while ignoring the fact he's essentially made everyone's lives a hell of a lot harder. But hey, at least he's learning how to fight rock golems!
An adventurous, confident voice is absolutely needed for this role! He needs to sound like a perfect hero, only for the reality of his character to settle in.
"Save the princess...Or go fight some Bokoblins...I've already made my decision honestly."
"Screw responsibility, I'm going on an adventure!"
"No offense and all, but...Saving the wilds seems kinda boring."
A mysterious, dangerous bounty hunter, Samus is widely feared across the kingdom as a terrifying being, capable of bringing hell to anyone who dares get in the way of her hunts. In all reality though, she is capable of being genuinely affable, though doesn't really allow herself to form connections due to some past demons of hers she hasn't quite gotten over.
A mature, stoic voice is exactly what I'm looking for with this role, but being capable of expressing emotions despite this will basically guarantee you the role.
"Mission accomplished. I'll begin heading back to base."
"Move aside, or I'll move you myself."
"Don't even think about trying anything, kid."
Probably the most unfortunate soul in the entire kingdom, things never seem to go right for Roy. In fact, more often than not it's rare for him to go a day without having to visit Doctor M. Regardless, he's sorta brought this on himself, as he has repeatedly tried to seem "cool" around others, usually in the dumbest ways possible, which often results in even worse injuries. Poor guy just can't catch a break.
Just about anything could work with him as a voice, but I guess try to go for that sorta "annoying little brother" feel.
Update: Roy's voice actor just sorta...Vanished, so I'm reopening the role. Good luck everyone!

A man with a surprisingly similar face to that of the famous Smash Kingdom mascot, it's currently unknown if he has any relation to him. What is known though is that he's the only doctor in the kingdom, and at that, one that's...Not very legal. A back alley doctor, he employs a rather amoral use of medicine more often than not, and it's pretty clear he's got some skeletons in his closet...Possibly literally!
Honestly, go crazy with his voice. I'll accept just about anything...Except for the actual Mario voice. I don't care how well you can imitate it, in this universe they're different people.
"I have terrible news...I lost your test results. Honestly, I'd just presume the worst."
"I'd be lying if I said that I haven't been sued at least seven times in the last week."
"Who says it's bad to use used needles? I certainly don't, and I'm a doctor for peat's sake, so I know what I'm talking about!"
A famous Pokemon champion, Red is commonly seen as a respectable, powerful person within the community. In all reality though, he's...Actually an insecure wreck of a person. He can't stand contact with others up close, to a point where he usually stays in the background and has his Pokemon speak for him.
Similar to Doc, go crazy with his voice, but he should sound reasonably young.
"S-Squirtle, please handle this!"
"I could speak for myself if I wanted...I just don't want to is all."
"Sometimes I wonder if the world is against me..."
A youthful soul who had a big future ahead of him, everything seemed to be looking up for Sonic...That is until he became a major sellout and lost a large amount of the credibility he had built up over the years from marathons, especially when his products were revealed as...Less than perfect. Now stuck in a situation he seemingly can't get out of, Sonic is looking for a way to improve his reputation again, and he'll do whatever it takes to do it.
I'm looking for one of those stereotypical "totally radical" voices, if you know what I mean. Maybe a bit high pitched and annoying, along with some obvious over-compensation if you can pull it off.
"Ha! You think I'd slow down to talk to a loser like you? Please, you gotta go fast with a life like mine!"
"You really think you and your old car are faster than me? Wanna bet on that?!"
"You're too slow!"
Snake is...Fairly unknown among the other Smashers. Few of the others have met him, and even fewer know more about him beyond the fact he exists at all. In some ways, it's almost eerie how often he seems to completely disappear...Though there certainly seem to be a lot of boxes around recently.
I'm looking for someone who can do a good David Hayter impression. You won't be doing too much talking on the show though.
"Pay no attention to the mysterious box."
"Hmm...I wonder what fried hedgehog would taste like."
"(Morbid Laughter) ...Showtime."
The narrator of the series. How often they'll appear will differ, but they will be featured at the very least at the beginning and end of every episode.
I don't really have any requirements for this voice outside of that they NEED to be very loud, eccentric, and bombastic. The more they pump the audience up, the better. Outside of that though, do whatever voice you believe fits.

I will be the first to admit that I'm not the best artist, but I would prefer having an artist for the series, if only for the credits. If you were to get this role, be prepared to draw at least one unique picture for every episode.
