Ronin, Hana and Asahina are Brittany's friends who convinces them that they should sign a contract to become a child actor for a children’s show with her friends in order to get out of the housing projects in the New Orleans.
Fun fact:
- The name Hana is a popular baby name for mixed children that means grace\joy in Korean. Ronin means masterless samurai in Japanese and Asa in Asahina's names is born in the morning in Japanese.
- Ronin, Hana and Asahina were also made to be a positive representation of children who has the ethnicity of both African and Asian ancestry.
