Project Overview

What is the project?

This is a redesign, a remaster of the videogame, Fallout: New Vegas. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic, open world environment around the areas of Nevada, California, and Arizona. I'm adding voice talent to improve upon areas in which I felt the original voice actors were lacking, ie. voice-acting, lore, miscast actors, etc.

Requirements:

-Voice (The voice that fits the character and fits the Fallout world  ie. A kid girl voice, a grizzled war veteran) Some people *have* it. I'm looking for the voice.

-Acting (Inflection, intonation, ability to move the audience) 

-Mic  (Sound must be crystal-clear and it must sound like it's coming from you and not from a phone or from a radio), no buzzing in the background, no pops, etc. The exception is when the role is an "audio log", similar to Bioshock. 

-You can audition as many times as you'd like

"Then there's Driver Nephi. He's fast and he's brutal. Killed about a dozen of my men with a goddamn driver iron. Hence his name."

"You've got some guts, I'll give you that. Nephi is one tough son of a bitch. You let him get close, and he'll take your head off."

"Driver Nephi is a monster in close combat with that golf club of his, and that man is about as fast on his feet as any Legionary."

I'm doing a recast of this character because the original actor is nowhere to be found.  This character is a paid role.

I'm looking for a voice that sounds intimidating and has a commanding presence.  Physically intimidating, 6'9', 320 lbs, muscular, a killer. Killed 24 men with a golf-club. A physical freak of nature. Takes various forms of steroids and substances.

Personality:  NOT stupid. NOT a typical grunt. I don't want this character to sound like a dumb thug. I want him to sound powerful, intimidating, someone who could crush a person with his bare hands....but has a certain intellect about him. 

Voice range:   Anywhere from medium/deep to deep.. It has to realistically sound like a voice that would come from a larger person.

Voice direction:  With this character, I just want to hear all types of auditions and see which voice seems to match the character the best. 

(It is possible to befriend this character so he isn't entirely an evil person)

Accent: North-American only.

Appearance: Ignore the face of the character as I can change the face to look like any character. I can make him look older, younger, have scars, have a beard, etc. What matters is the voice more than anything else. I will match the appearance of the character to your voice.

    I *could.* I'm not terribly inclined to....... If you go talk to them, they might kill you and rob me of the fun....... ..... Listen... you don't want to mess with Cook-Cook..... And you *really* don't want to let him get you alone......Trust me.
    (Introduction)
    Name's Nephi, friend. Driver Nephi. Pleasure to meet you.  (Nephi = Knee-fie as in a knee and fie as in wi-fi)
    (talking about how many people he's killed)Lots. More than any other Fiend - hundreds, maybe. Wham, bam, "oh god, my brains, you hit me in my brains." Easy as that.
    (talking about someone he dislikes)Bert? That scaly, corpse-looking fuck, you tell him I'm never going back to his little cult!
    (Goodbye)Get fucked.
    (If you offer him drugs) (he becomes friendlier)Hey, you ain't so bad after all......Yeah I guess you're all right. (takes the drug) Oh sweet fuck that is good! God's gift to mankind right there......Yeah.... This world is a fucked up place and only three things make everything right again. Drugs, blood and pussy... It's salvation to those who receive it....The NCR is the only Devil I see in these parts.
